My wife and I had only 1 night to spend in the area on the way back from Maryland, but we really wanted to see Colonial Williamsburg. Another B&B close by refused to honor our reservation since it was for only the 1 night. However, Tom at Aldrich House was able to accommodate us. The House itself is modern, but...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Aldrich House B & B and could not have been more pleased. They were gracious and accommodating. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The biggest surprise was how close they were to the Historic Colonial Williamsburg area--an easy 5 minute walk. Tom and Sue were wonderful hosts and a wealth of knowledge--they...

My husband and I would say overall it was okay, but for the money it was lacking. Cons We had the Patton room on the first floor, the room was very bright at night, between the candles in the window and the porch light it was difficult for me to sleep. In addition there are no curtains on the window...

We recently returned from a two-night stay at the Aldrich House B&B. This was our second time staying with Tom and Sue. They are wonderful hosts and their home is lovely and comfortable. There are only three bedrooms (which is nice); one on the first floor and two on the second. One of the second floor bedrooms is huge with...

I agree with all the fantastic reviews of the Aldrich House B&B. We were there for two nights. Rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was yummy and served on beautiful china. Sue&Tom are lovely and make you feel welcome. Tom is a wealth of historical knowledge too. Would definitely stay here again. I searched several B&Bs online and the...

We visited the Aldrich House in May, 2014 on a brief weekend trip to Williamsburg to celebrate our 10th anniversary. From the time we made the reservations to the time we left, the communication and the services that Tom and Sue provided were top-notch. The house sits on a little cul-de-sac only a few hundred yards from Colonial Williamsburg. When...

This was our second visit to Aldrich House. We stayed there in 2011 and when we planned a repeat two-night visit to Williamsburg we had no hesitation in booking the Patton Room again. Tom and Sue make their guests very welcome. There are just three guest rooms so the inn has a nice, homely feel to it. We've stayed in...

Tom and Sue Patton are great hosts, and Tom's cooking can keep you going almost all day. Location is superb, an easy walk to the nearby Colonial Williamsburg 'campus' and close to restaurants. We found their Lewis Room just right for two, quiet and comfortable.

We stayed at the Aldrich House for two nights for a girls get-away. We stayed in the beautiful and comfortable Anderson room. Plenty of space in this room for the 3 of us to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The house is very inviting and casual but beautiful. Tom welcomed us on...

A romantic overnight getaway found us spending our time at a great spot "The Aldrich House B&B". Nestled on a cul-de-sac, a convenient 2 block walk to the historic district, makes this property a top choice. The home is warm and comfortable in the common areas and our king suite (Patton) on the first floor was large and nicely appointed....
