Our family of five stayed the week after Easter (4/17-4/21/17). From the moment we arrived until we left, the experience was excellent. The pool was heated and spotless. The showers were hot and the bathrooms were clean. The grounds of the property were very well-maintained as well. There were always staff around to help and it seemed that they employ...

Typically we like to stay in public campgrounds as there seems to be more privacy and less commercialism. We weren't able to arrange that on this trip so we opted for this KOA. They do their best to keep you in the campground with 'heated' (solar??) pool and a set of jumping pillows. Also TV's in the cabins. We are...

Friendly helpful staff. Clean facilities. Heated pool. Close to great restaurants and all historical sites. Camp gives directions to all places and recommended a great restaurant. We plan to return as we did not get to see all there is to do

Great experience for first time camper. Space was nice and flat for our tent. Bathroom and bathhouse was clean. The pool was ok but cool, the eagle trail is great! I don't know if I could fish in lake. Just a quiet and great place for me!

We appreciate your review of our campground. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your time with us. We don't have a lake for fishing, but you can find great fishing just a few minutes from the campground at York River State Park, Waller Mill Park, and Historic Yorktown. Thanks for camping with us. Come back to see us again soon.

Pros: Clean, nice, safe. Pool, gaga ball, and jumping pillow all got a huge thumbs up from the kids and teen. Deluxe cabins with microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, outdoor grill, small fridge and full bath all were in excellent condition and offered the comforts of home. Very convenient location to Busch gardens, Colonial Williamsburg and the other historic sites. Discounted attraction...

We had a paver patio site with wooden swing. Our 20 ft travel trailer fit wonderfully and we had plenty of space. Clean bathrooms and great showers. My mom rented a basic cabin nearby us and her amenities were great as well. Service was wonderful as well. We needed more length for our water hose and they let us use...

This was our first trip in our new camper. The dealer had given us a voucher for a night at this KOA. I was uncertain of what to expect, and then we met Tom! I quickly realized that he was the same gentleman that had made our reservation. Talking to him on the phone was like calling a 5 Star...

Excellent location with kid specific and family friendly activities with admission tickets on-site for the local attractions. Easy highway access but secluded and quiet for a nice camping experience. Clean facilities. Staff helpful and willing to relocate us to a better spot pending availability. Personal attention and recognition of guests over our 3 day stay. Special appreciation for the personal...

My two boys and I decided to visit Jamestown and Yorktown last weekend (March 10-12). We rented a basic one room cabin and it was plenty of space for us. The campground was very empty, probably due to the fact it was freezing. The staff was very friendly at check-in and check-out. We visited the camp store for firewood and...
