When you select non smoking and get a cigarette smell. It was difficult enough to decide to stay here side we only stayed a night to move on to the next destination. Smoke bothers both myself and my wife who constantly suffer from allergies. Wyndham rewards gave us a decent rate. Didn’t encounter another issue, but I would just stay somewhere else.
Hotel room looked nice,I give a 2 because of many false advertisements, price was way more when checked in,bed sheets looked as though they had been slept on..went out and bought snacks and such,bought ice cream and went to put away and freezer was to the top frozen in ice,fridge didn't stay cold..next morning got up to make coffee,creamer packets were so old they were hard as rocks,went down to get "continental breakfast" was told all they had was coffee and water..definitely wouldn't recommend or return.sorry not sorry Very disappointed visitors Kitty M Tony M
Our stay exceeded our expectations, the staff was friendly, and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, the location was very close to all the attractions Williamsburg has to offer. We will stay there again any time we are in Williamsburg, VA
Check-in was pleasant. Location was excellent. The two main issues were that we were placed in a smoking room when we specifically registered for a non-smoking room. The employee's response was that it was a smoking room. My asthma begged to differ. Also, they do not have functioning ice machines in the winter. The winter plan is that if you need ice, you must walk next door to the Red Roof Inn and get ice.
The couple who runs the hotel were very nice and checkin and out extremely. The rooms were impeccably clean, didn’t feel the need to wear shower shoes in the tub. Beds were very comfortable. Internet ran smooth and was able to get some work from home complete. I was very pleased with the facility.
