Do not stay at this hotel! It was the worst hotel ever. It was the dirtiest, filthiest, smelliest, most disgusting hotel I’d ever tried to stay in in 52 years. It reeked of marijuana and under age patrons. It is that kind of hotel. Looks are deceiving when booking on the internet. Had I known I would of never. It looks nothing like the pictures on the internet
Make sure the picture on the website really demonstrates how the property and rooms really looks because I was totally disappointed. They advertised indoor pool, and the pool had algae and green slime on top of it. It had not been cleaned and the water was allowed to just stand in the pool. There were broken down vehicles in the parking lot. Some on blocks, some with flat tires. The customer services was horrible and the one staff I did see was very rude. The outside of the hotel has broken fences and the lattice was torn down. No one should have to pay to stay there.
Let me start out by saying this isn't a great hotel, BUT for $47.00 for an overnight it was as good as one should expect for a room near the $50.00 range. The outside of the building is very loud. A mint green and orange color scheme make it hard to miss as you are arriving. You can tell instantly that this is an older hotel that has had the, "putting lipstick on a pig" update. They do offer an indoor pool (did not use it) and there is a morning breakfast. There is a McDonald's that is just a short walk away for those wanting fast food. I have stayed at the neighboring Super 8 to this hotel and for about the same price I would pick this one over the later.
The outside of the building is sketchy. Holes in the roof blacked out windows. But the inside is absolutely gorgeous the rooms are spectacular. The receptionist that checked us in didn’t seem to enjoy her job. But the maintenance people and the check out staff were very very sweet! Also the inside is so clean. It’s was a very nice stay. Just remember don’t judge a book by it’s cover!
Was a stress free booking and check in with a late check out that all played a roll in a relaxing weekend. Didn’t have all the noise and racket you get when you stay at a hotel at similar pricing. Will always choose this hotel first when I’m in Williamsburg.
