My husband and I had another wonderful vacation at the Applewood Colonial! This was our third year staying with Denise and Monty and our experience gets better and better each time! Breakfast is always wonderful and "Our" room is always clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, walking distance to and from W&M campus and historic Colonial Williamsburg. The highlights...

We have recently spent the most fabulous week at the very comfortable Applewood Colonial in Williamsburg with Denise, Monty and Penny where our every need was catered for; many thanks to Denise for her extra 'kindnesses'. Denise set us up each morning with gorgeous home made breakfasts and gave us many tips about places to eat. It was also great...

My husband and I just enjoyed a beautiful week at Applewood Colonial. Denise and Monty are so gracious and charming. The BNB was decorated for fall and gorgeous. We were spoiled with all of the delicious flavors coming out of the kitchen each morning. Baked oatmeal, egg soufflés, mini apple bundt cakes....so filling and satisfying we did not have to...

We went for a long weekend. The innkeepers were so friendly (and their adorable dog!), the accommodations were absolutely lovely, and the breakfasts were great. We were in the Treetop Suite and loved it. We can't wait to come back.

We stayed here for four nights during our honeymoon to Virginia. Denise and Monty were the perfect hosts and wonderful people in general. The breakfasts were amazing and the room was filled with colonial charm. They gave great information about local attractions and places to eat. We will definitely visit again!

Applewood with its authentic colonial architectural features, lovely furnishings and outstanding cuisine makes a visit to the historic city pure enjoyment. We have stayed at many B&B's but none matches Denise's baking--cookies, pastries, coffee cakes.

Applewood B&B was the ideal home away from home for our Xmas week family get together. The three boys settled into the tree top suite while my wife and I enjoyed The Twin Elms room. Breakfasts were delicious and Denise was incredibly accommodating to our tastes and schedule. The B&B is situated across from the William & Mary campus, and...
