Applewood B&B was the ideal home away from home for our Xmas week family get together. The three boys settled into the tree top suite while my wife and I enjoyed The Twin Elms room. Breakfasts were delicious and Denise was incredibly accommodating to our tastes and schedule. The B&B is situated across from the William & Mary campus, and...

This was our first time staying in a B and B. We came to Williamsburg for a getaway weekend to celebrate our first year wedding anniversary. We loved every little bit about the Applewood! The hosts are amazing, the food they prepare is out of this world, comfortable bed and room. The food the innkeepers prepared was delicious, after finishing...

We arrived after a short drive from Richmond VA to be greeted by Denise, her husband Monty and their 2 queen-Elizabeth-dogs (I can never remember the breed's name). We entered through the back where the landscaping was so inviting and so well kept. It was a great first impression. The 4 of us were here to celebrate one of our...

We picked it based off of the reviews and pictures as well as its proximity to Colonial Williamsburg. We weren’t quite sure what to expect since we’ve only stayed in hotels but this was essentially like being at...
