We had a very nice stay at the Inn. We were allowed to check in before the normal check in time. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was small but had all we needed. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He even invited our daughter to come over and have breakfast with us. Very convenient...

My niece and I took a first-time trip to Virginia to meet some online friends. We decided to stay in a B&B (first time as well), and The Cedars of Williamsburg was an excellent choice. Alex was a wonderful host. He accommodated our late-night arrival and early-morning departure. He was also very flexible about a last minute correction to our...

This lovely B&B is under new ownership (starting late summer 2016), which is making serious upgrade efforts for the inn and its services. We found them earnest and eager to make us comfortable and to address our concerns. One of us had dietary restrictions and left some of the (hearty and hot) breakfast uneaten on the first day. Rather than...

While we are new owners, our aim is to make all guests feel warm and welcome. I'm glad we were able to help you. Thanks again...

Lovely house and excellent location. Possibly a bit high priced, but the location and ease of having my three kids in an adjoining room was worth it. Breakfast was very good the first day - yogurt with granola, a small home made muffin and bacon. A nice amount to get the day started. The downside being there was not an...

The B&B definitely has potential, but it has a frenetic pace feeling of the new owners becoming familiar with running a B&B. Our greeting from the owner was sub par and lacked the warmth or hospitality expected from a B&B. The breakfast was okay, but the manner that it is served is awkward and feels very rushed. Understand new ownership...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the Cedars. I am sorry that your stay - and my hospitality in general - did not meet your standards. Obviously it is never our intention to greet anyone with anything but a happy disposition and an eagerness to help you during your stay. If you could please email...

My husband and I spent three nights at the Cedars. The room was very comfortable and the staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. It was a quick walk to Historic Williamsburg. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The Cedars is located directly across from William and Mary and an easy walk to the historic area of Williamsburg. We only used our car for a side trip to Jamestown. The owners are a young couple who recently acquired the property. They are enthusiastic and working hard to make staying at their property a unique experience. While we were...

Thanks so much for the kind words. I'm really happy you enjoyed our new winter-menu items. I'm glad the baked gingerbread oatmeal and eggnog French Toast met your expectations as well as the locally sourced bacon. We're happy our friendly staff was here to assist you with all your needs and we look forward to seeing y'all again real soon.

We stayed here during the Grand Illumination and weekend of W&M student performances. The location is a hop and skip from PBK Hall and the Muscarelle Museum. The rooms are quaint leaning to Colonial decor. Our room had a fireplace that turned on with a wall switch (easy), fridge, Keurig, and TV. The breakfasts were tasty. The staff was 6...

Thank you for your review! Indeed our location is one of the major draws to the Cedars but we're glad our staff and friendliness exceeded your expectations. For those who enjoy the B&B experience this is a very nice B&B with excellent breakfast and an owner that goes beyond what one would expect. Thank you very much for your kind words. While misunderstandings do occur from time-to-time, I'm glad that I was able to amend any ill-feelings towards our B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfasts were awesome and the rooms and charm were very nice. Very pleasant (somewhat new) owners and staff made our stay all the better. Great location too - just a short walk to the downtown. Hope to return one day.
