Perfect location for our family of 4! The cottage was charming, and an ideal spot -- we walked everywhere in town. Owners were extremely helpful and knowledgable about restaurants and local attractions. We will definitely return and highly recommend!

We stayed 1 night in the Webster Hitchens Room which is a large corner room for 2 with a large attached bathroom. I had expected a smaller room from the photo and was pleasantly surprised. We did use the common area in the evening. We chose to spend our day at Yorktown and Jamestown and arrived at Williamsburg shortly before...

Billy and Sharon have created an absolutely wonderful establishment with very tastefully decorated rooms and common area. Breakfast was outstanding! When visiting Williamsburg or William and Mary College, be sure to check this gem, which is within easy walking distance of both. We can't wait to return!

Decided to try a new place for our stay in Williamsburg. We were not disappointed. Fife and Drum is very convenient to everything in Colonial Williamsburg. Shops and restaurants all within and easy walk. So much so we parked the car Friday and it stayed parked until we left Sunday. Billy and Sharon are great hosts.

We stayed in the Drummer's Cottage at the Fife & Drum Inn and it was great. Enough space for the 4 of us with a master bedroom, bunk beds and a pull out sofa. We were able to walk to shopping, food and Williamsburg sightseeing. Has its own parking right next to the building. The staff were friendly and helpful....

We are most pleased you enjoyed you visit to Williamsburg and your stay in our Cottage. Very sorry the internet was out at the Cottage when you were there. I did have our tech guy look at it. Turned out it was a bad connection at the transmitter. It was a simple fix and the high speed internet is back...

Only had time to stay one night which was not long enough. Billy and Sharon made sure that everything was perfect for us. Can't beat the location, the room was very nice, and the breakfast was wonderful. They had answers for all our questions and made us feel like family. Thanks guys for great visit!

My daughter and I were here for two nights while touring William and Mary. Perfect location- right by Historic Williamsburg and The College. Great walking location, near shopping and many restaurants, some literally steps away. The InnKeeper was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was Delicious, and snacks, including fresh cookies and beverages were always available, even when we arrived after...

Our 2 night stay at the Fife & Drum Inn was the highlight of our visit to Williamsburg. My granddaughter is planning on attending law school at William and Mary and wanted to tour the school and visit with faculty. This is the perfect location. The owners, Bill and Sharon, were so gracious and helpful. Free parking, awesome breakfast, close...

My 12-year old daughter and I went on a girls getaway to Colonial Williamsburg and we had a wonderful stay here in the George Washington Room. We were in easy walking distance to all restaurants in the historic district and merchants square, William and Mary is a stones throw away, off-street parking and a delicious breakfast. Our room was nearest...

Spent only two days at the inn. I regret not been able to stay more... The inn is incredibly beautiful, with well thought details that give it a charming look. My room (George Washington) was also very practical, reasonably spaceful and noise-free (except for the delightful sound of old wood under your feet). I also enjoyed very nice and rich...
