Hotel itself is nice and clean, has an upmarket feel, rooms were good, comfy bed, all amenities necessary , great en-suite and shower facilities. Only downside was turning up sat evening and finding no bar or food options (other than little market) bar only open Monday to Friday due to staff shortages but when open limited menu but food is good and a nice bar to sit at.
It’s a clean and modern hotel but it’s the second time I’ve stayed here and their kitchen is closed at dinner time, no room service available for breakfast, the bar and gym both closed too. For the price this is really not ok. I was directed to a Thai restaurant next door to eat dinner which was the only restaurant nearby. Also quite a walk to get to the main action of Bellevue. The room was also quite basic and not cozy, like sleeping in an office.
Front desk manager (Lindsay), was the absolute worst!! Please consider staying at AC Hotel around the block, friendly staff & nice clean rooms. Additionally, Lindsay can use more training on soft skills.
Found that hot water wasnt working in the shower. They were able to send a tech and fix it fairly quickly. But made for a crappy experience. Also there was no house keeping. It may be a covid policy but i would have expected them to tell me so i could request one. Overall, not a good experience. The lady at the front desk was very nice: was genuinely appologetic and offered me marriott points.
Despite the description this is not your typical 4 star Marriott property. The decor is more like a Fairfield Inn. Not what you expect for $200 + per night. Laminate floors and modular furniture that looks like it came from Ikea. No housekeeping service even though we asked for it daily. Then I had to ask twice for clean towels.
This hotel does not accept their own credit cards, stayed over 196 nights in 2021 at Marriott World Wide, while using the Marriott BonVoy MasterCard. I had to learn that Mr. Carlo / Mr. Eric Sun have checked me on with 25.000 Marriott Elite Points, which I have earned in fact, however, they still required additional credit card deposit. When it came to the point where I would have to have credit card deposit, we realized that their outdated system (from the 80s) does not accept their pin verified credit cards. So let's get this right, I am using the Marriott BonVoy MasterCard at a Marriott hotel, and they don't accept their own cards? Fact is that I used 25.000 for the night and now I cannot be checked in, and lost my points, they simply have not been refunded? Don't stay in this place if your credit cards needs pin verification or if you are an international traveler.…
We recently stayed at this Marriott during the Labor Day weekend and it was a great stay. The bright spot is that all the employees we talked to were helpful and friendly. The location is also great as it is within walking distance to the Bravern Shops and the Bellevue Square Shopping Mall. Next to the hotel is Nibbana, a Thai Restaurant serving great Thai dishes. About 300 yards away is Seastar Restaurant, a fancy sit down restaurant. A bit on the expensive side, but it's all worth every penny you spend. Less than a half mile is H Mart - a Korean Grocery store. Less than half a mile is the Bus Center where you can find the public buses that can take you all over (Bus 550 takes you to downtown Seattle even close to Pike's Public Market). The kitchen is only open for Breakfast and Milton was really friendly and helpful. He prepared our breakfast daily and he oozes great customer service. Projects a positive attitude and always smiles.…
We are staying here for a week and arrived one day ago and service has been spot on! I downloaded the Marriott Bonvoy app and chatted with them about trying to get adjoining rooms as well as having one of the rooms with safety bars in the bathroom and they accommodated our request. Also our coffeemaker inside our room was leaking do they replaced it. And also we needed more hangers for our closet because the room has no dresser drawers to unpack your clothes. Perks are complimentary bottled water, icemaker on each floor, refrigerator, microwave and safe in our rooms. And the fitness center is humongous with machines and weights. I miss the bosu and stability ball as props though and notified the front desk that there are no sanitizing wipes to clean the equipment before and after so I hope that housekeeping will provide that. The dining room is spacious and breakfast only is served from 6:30 to 10 am daily. The food was delicious and hearty and Tom was very attentive! We are paying for valet parking as it just too hard for my sister to walk far for self parking. Masks are free and available at the front desk. So far we are enjoying our stay here. The rate for a week for Marriott Bonvoy members is very reasonable plus the hotel is 5 minutes away from our late brother’s home.…
Took refuge in this property during a historical heatwave in Seattle where temperatures reached 107 degrees. We had stayed one night at a different hotel in Bellevue only to have the AC not work properly maybe because it was an older, even though the previous hotel was a higher category hotel. This property not only had the coldest AC of the bunch, but it was new, had a smart and modern room layout, and had a pull out Queen to match the King bed which was perfect for the little ones. The room had a fridge with plenty of room, microwave, coffee maker, large HDTV, accessible plugins and USBs, movable office desks, a comfortable office chair, high speed WiFi, and even a ironing board and iron. The bed is comfortable, linens crisp and the pillows fluffy. The bathroom was well lit, shower large, and the bathroom room sink modern. Could have used some extra shampoo and conditioner… Plenty of self-parking easily accessible by elevator below the hotel, but you had to pay $20 per day. There is also a restaurant area downstairs that served a warm breakfast until 10am. Few negatives include location since it’s a good walk to the center of town where more restaurants and bars are located. There is no pool or hot tub. The closest Starbucks is .3 miles away… No free parking. Overall a great hotel for the business traveler but maybe not the tourist, and an awesome local refuge during the next Seattle heatwave!…
Very nice property. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. The bed was very comfortable. A/C worked great. Nice gym. Restaurant was closed but you are within walking distance of everything in downtown Bellevue. All of the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.
