The owner Nan Meaker is such a nice approacheable person. My wife and I enjoyed the two nights in early may three years ago. The full frig with bacon eggs fruit and fresh bread bagels was so unique to us and Nan's hospitality was second to none. If my wife Carol and I come to Washington again we would surely...

Somerbrook really was a home away from home. Nan greeted us with a fresh cut bouquet of lavender when we go there which was a great and welcome suprise. There was a huge bath tub and all the breakfast food you could ever think of making. The bed was super comfy and although there were others staying there that we...

My boyfriend and I stayed in the French suite on two separate occasions. He was working in Canada and I did not have a passport. Somerbrook was a perfect location for us to meet - quiet, relaxing and romantic. The large, fully-equipped kitchen let us have home-cooked meals together and the on-site laundry facilities were a real bonus. I have...

Travelling from my town in Canada to Somerbrook Guest House, I arrived on a Friday, late after work and was exhuasted. The Owner and Host, Nan, guided me in the dark through her precise directions and soon I was...

I spent the night at Somerbrook as it was close to a running event. Getting there was pretty easy and the guest house is really very nice. It is set off by itself on a hill above the owners home, and its quiet and provides a nice view of Mt. Baker. There were crickets singing all around the home which...

This little B&B has it all. It has a spectacular view of Mount Baker, watch for the orange glow at sunset off the snowy peak! It has fresh country air tinged with the sharp scent of lavender. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the bath a pleasure to soak in and the peace and quite a balm to the soul....
