We stayed in an Orchard cottage and would definitely return. Island is super quiet and makes for a peaceful getaway. Rooms were knotty pine and King bed that may be one of the most comfortable hotel mattresses I've slept in. Private hot tube on back...More

It was my first time in Orcas Island and I chose the Deer Harbor after some research. My stay at the begining of August was perfect, there´s something special about this place that I haven´t figured out yet, it gave me very good vibes.

The above answers seem to tell it all. Our cell phones did not work in that area of the island. We did not even try the WiFi as we were there to get away from it all. The TV was small and we never turned it on. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant, as it was only open in the evenings. We would spend the day in other parts of the island, and had always eaten by the time we came back to the lodge. Breakfast consisted of some yogurt, some breakfast bars, and some coffee that can hold you over until you can go out to seek breakfast. This is a great get-away spot, not a resort.
