I got a groupon otherwise the rates for small lodge rooms are astounding!! You can get a small cottage to yourself elsewhere on the island in off-season for maybe $20 more than the cost of a room here. Wish I had done more research before...More
Spent two nights in the Orchard Cabin. It was very clean and had lots of room. The hot tub on the back deck was a nice bonus and the kitchen was just big enough for us to cook ourselves dinner one night. The included breakfast...More
My partner and I stayed in one of the cabins which allowed us to bring our two four legged girls. The private hot tub as well as the fireplace were huge plusses for us. Breakfast was quaint with items placed for us in a picnic...More
My two children (ages 10 and 9) and I enjoyed a memorable two night stay in a very quaint and well appointed Deer Harbor Inn cottage (#2). Our hosts were there but not there. We frankly saw more of their adorable cats than we did...More
TV didn't work and the poorly organized breakfast was really a let down, unless you consider a banana, English muffin and a bag of cereal in a large picnic basket very filling. We saw some staff that said "sorry about the TV"-and cleaned our room.More

The above answers seem to tell it all. Our cell phones did not work in that area of the island. We did not even try the WiFi as we were there to get away from it all. The TV was small and we never turned it on. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant, as it was only open in the evenings. We would spend the day in other parts of the island, and had always eaten by the time we came back to the lodge. Breakfast consisted of some yogurt, some breakfast bars, and some coffee that can hold you over until you can go out to seek breakfast. This is a great get-away spot, not a resort.
