It was a nice, quiet place and easy accessibility. A very trusting environment and the owners were very kind. Definitely would return and there is even a nice restaurant on site. We came in late and they fixed a meal when the place was closing....More
We were looking for a place to get away from the maddening crowd. We found it in our stay on Orcas Island for three nights at the Deer Harbor Inn. We just had a room in the lodge, not one of the cute little cabins....More
We stayed in the Lodge (Room 4) for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The room was comfortable and large enough for 2 people. We appreciated the breakfast snacks that are provided since the restaurant is only open for dinner. Our room wasn't serviced the...More
Orchard cabin #1 was clean, well-appointed, cozy and surprisingly spacious, inside and out. Front deck was large and had dining set, back deck also large enough for hanging out. Nice hot tub (a little too hot for us). Inside, plenty of space and light (lots...More

The above answers seem to tell it all. Our cell phones did not work in that area of the island. We did not even try the WiFi as we were there to get away from it all. The TV was small and we never turned it on. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant, as it was only open in the evenings. We would spend the day in other parts of the island, and had always eaten by the time we came back to the lodge. Breakfast consisted of some yogurt, some breakfast bars, and some coffee that can hold you over until you can go out to seek breakfast. This is a great get-away spot, not a resort.
