We spent two nights at the Seal Point cottage at Salish Escapes. The cabin was pretty comfortable and kitchen and bathroom well supplied with everything you need. Views were great and evenings on the patio excellent - we brought our propane fire pit. BBQ works fine. Place is worn and dated but that was somewhat expected. 5 min drive to...

Thank you for your kind words about Seal Point. The only critique I see is that the "place is worn and dated," which I take to mean the outside of the house, since the inside furniture is either new leather couches and chairs, or antique tables (the big one a Horner Brothers 19th century griffin table formerly owned by Nicole...

I'm a Texan who needs to get away from the Southern heat. I found the perfect place on the perfect island. Wonderful hospitality and the place felt like home. Can't wait to bring my kids to see the Orca whales! Whether you need some solitude to do some thinking or work, or a place big enough for the whole family,...

While I can only assume there are people out there who would enjoy it, the Heron Cove cottage was about as far away from what I'd want in a vacation rental as I could imagine. First, it was dark. Somehow it's been designed so that barely any light makes its way in - but also there are no curtains on...

We were extremely impressed with our stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hospitality of the employees went above and beyond what we expected and was very refreshing to see. The view of the water from our room was stunning. I would recommend The Salish Seaside Escapes to anyone who would like to get away from the busyness...

I am a New Jersey lawyer who aspired to have a temporary vacation escape from the winter climate of my hometown and the hectic pace of my litigation practice. My wife and I both wanted to have a vacation experience somewhere that was both beautiful and memorable. We chose The Salish Seaside Escapes, making a reservation at the Screech Owl...

We spent three nights in a lovely rustic cottage--the Eagle's Nest; which is an ideal location for a couple to get away to. It is "rustic like" due to the knotty pine wood throughout the cottage, but you have a beautiful shower, internet access and satellite TV; so you are not totally cut off from civilization. There is a kitchenette...

This was a wonderful place to spend our 35th anniversary! Very eclectic and homey atmosphere. Not like a typical cabin retreat by any means! Felt like we were in a home full of unique furnishings and wonderful reading material not like anything we've seen. Each cottage has a unique feel and though ours was not on the waterfront we did...

We stayed there for a weekend. Beyond the price being extremely reasonable the cabins are just fantastic. They remind me of fairy tale cabins in the woods. They were clean, comfortable and everything was provided including firewood, spices and a full compliment of dishes. They are extremely dog friendly and just overall wonderful hosts. There are sauna's, hot tubs and...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Salish on Orcas Island. I think it was my 4th trip and each time seems better than the last. The owners are so friendly and welcoming! They work hard to make it a memorable experience for each of their guests. This time we stayed in Orca Watch, which is an adorable...

We chose The Salish Seaside Escapes to celebrate our 20th Anniversary, and loved our time here. From the moment we arrived, until we checked out, we felt not only relaxed and refreshed, but surprised by the whimsical and beautiful atmosphere. It is as if we stepped into a fairy tale book for a few days. (And I didn't want to...
