We spent a week at Yakima River RV park and loved it as usual. It was our 4th time staying there. The facilities are beautiful with green grass and lots of trees. The Yakima River is a 1/2 mile walk or a very quick drive away. We float down the river on tubes and rafts and have a blast. If... More

The spaces and park are ok. Grass and some trees, but very close together. Camp Host is nice, but the owner is very rude. River access is outside of the park about 1/4 mile down the road but it is nice. No dump station. No bathrooms. Just a port a potty.

Pulled up to this park and asked to stay for a month. Owner and her friend laughed in our faces and asked many condescending questions about the nature of our stay. I have never felt more demeaned or humiliated by the owner of a business before. She told us she had no long term spaces. As we turned out rig... More

In spite of the negativity on the marketing... Website, brochure, etc this was a nice pleasant stay... Pull through spaces, access to city, proximity to river and trails.. All were perfect for our two day stay. No clubhouse or showers/bathrooms but full service sites. Dogs enjoyed the pet area as well...

The Pros: Convenient to the Interstate, relatively quiet and close proximity to the Yakima River. The Cons: High price for what you get. Thirty five dollars for one night for power and water only. No sewer hook up unless you stay two nights or more. No dump station, they send you down the road to the truck stop which doesn't... More

This was a stop over for us, $31.50 with GS discount. Even # sites are P/W only, odd # sites are P/W/S but must stay a 2 night min. Level gravel sites but you have to un-hook and park your tow vehicle away from your site. A short distance (2 miles) off the main highway so there is no road... More

This small RV park was a fabulous find. It is located a short distance off the highway, but well worth the drive. The park is quiet, exceptionally well cared for, and the people running it are very friendly. We had a problem with the awning on our 40-foot motor home and the manager went out of his way and offered... More

Great location and nicely maintained park. The RV space (ours is a 30' travel trailer with 2 tip outs) was level and roomy; we were among only a handful of RVers so it was pretty quiet. There's a nice dog walking area nearby. We especially liked the proximity to the river, though while we were there it was overflowing its... More

Easy on and off. Good stop before proceeding through the pass and on to Seattle. Traffic is noisy but what park isn't in this interstate area. Office and personnel are efficient . It is a KOA and a place to stop for the night.

This review, mistakenly, is for KOA, not Yakima River RV Park. It must have been posted incorrectly. Yakima River RV Park is two miles south of the Interstate and a quiet Park. Hopefully this post will be posted on the correct page. Thank you. More

I wish we had found this place sooner as it is a pleasant little piece of paradise! A clean, well-kept park, surrounded by picturesque farmlands and minutes from the Yakima River. We enjoyed a quiet, relaxing weekend there and will make this a regular destination next year! The off leash areas are also a big plus, gotta keep the pets... More
