This is one busy camp ground. It has a dock and there was plenty of activity on the lake. The staff was friendly, I didn't run across any grumpy grandpa's. The camp sites were fine, very family oriented. No alcohol permitted. Its about an hours ride to Mt. Rainier NP, a little longer to Mt. St. Helens. Has large shower... More

I must say I was a little disappointed with my stay this past summer. The weather was hot and the cabins were hotter. The lake was filled with toxic algae and dyed all white things yellow. If I go next year will have to bring an air conditioner or will not be able to enjoy the cabins. Of course maybe... More

I'm not sure which Grumpy Grandpa another reviewer was talking about because there is no one here like that. Our family travels for work and this is the best campground we have stayed at. All of the permanent residents and all of the staff have been amazing to our kids. The laundry is the cheapest I've come across and so... More

We have a 40' Motorhome, and the site given to us was more than big enough to park 2 extra cars too. The spaces are grassy, water and 30 amp. electric available. Some dump sites available too, but we didn't need one for two nights. The campground was FULL. Kids everywhere having fun. Many activities available. Campfires are allowed in... More

Family friendly, clean, no alcohol allowed, pets ok, dock, easy walking trails, nice fire pits, back in sites , reasonably priced, close to steam train, nice place. We will come back here again. Nice play yard for the kids too. Staff of center lives on site.

The camp host on duty most of the time is a grumpy grandpa that needs to retire. This is our 3rd weekend camping here this year and 3rd year we have come in a row but will not be back. We invited a large group of fellow kayakers to fish for the day....by large I mean maybe 20 people. When... More

Camp Lakeview looks just like it does on their website. There is something for everyone. They have cottages, cabins, an RV park, campsites, meetings halls and even a church building that can be rented. I was looking for a place for our family to stay together during our son's graduation from seminary in Graham, WA. We stayed in the Yukon... More
