stayed here for one night for light show at dam. Friendly guy at reception, gave us a first floor room in annex separate from main building. Was worried as a load of bikers checked in below us but didn't hear a thing. Clean, dated but spacious room, as spacious as an apartment! Ice cold a/c. Would recommend.

We had a great stay at Trail West Motel at the very end of our road trip. We did not make a reservation, but they had a room for us when we pulled up late one night. Sam told us about the laser show on the dam, and the best places to watch it from. He told us where to... More

We have stayed here every year for 8 years. Unfortunately this may have been my last. The manager Sam is the best, can't ask for better service. He owners obviously aren't putting any money into the place. Every room in the 2 story building smelled like sewer gas. The floor wasn't level and we slept with our heads downhill. Bathroom... More

I’m very sorry your stay was not up to your standards. I’m working to go through every room and correct any issues. I went up to the Motel and talked to Sam, we could not detect any smells or issues with the Sewer. I have contacted the City to see if they had any issues in the last month. We... More

Low priced motel providing satisfactory overnight stay. Room comfortable, good comfortable bed. Big enough. Nice bathroom. Good parking. Good place to stay to see Grand Coulee light show at night and dam in he day. Cost was about $60. No breakfast. TV and Wi-Fi. 3 miles from dam.

Fortunately this was an overnight stop for us, and the price was right. The rooms and property is in need of renovation but I guess like the rest of this small rural old town built around the time the dam was being built it's showing its age. However, it's what gives this town its character and charm.

The rooms are clean, they aren't in the best condition (ripped sheet, tape on the shower rod) but for the price and location, it was nice. It had a microwave and mini-fridge for your drinks and snacks. Make sure to take your own toiletries and hair dryers. They have a small pool, but the chlorine was kind of strong.

This place was one of the worst places I ever stayed at, there must had been a hundred flies in the room and they were cob webs above the bed and tv. not very appealing, beds were in bad need of being replaced and the sheets were pretty bad, slept with clothes on Can't recommend this place, camp and save... The outside might not look like much but the rooms were very clean and the internet worked great. I was very comfortable there and I liked that I was so close to the safeway. Microwave and fridge in room helped to save money on food. Also the staff was friendly and very helpful when I asked about the local area.

I was traveling from Yellowstone National Park to North Cascades National Park and needed an inexpensive (basic) place to spend the night The worker at a local gas station recommended the Trail West Motel. I came to the motel and it was everything that I expected--and even a little more. It was a traditional 1950s or 1960s style motel. The... More
