Was surprised that this campground was listed as a KOA. The only campground in the area with availability which is understandable. There was nothing but a field with no privacy and bathrooms that were clean. The camp hosts were very friendly which made our stay better.

We stayed here for 5 nights while my husband and friends were salmon fishing. Good location as it is close to Ilwaco, Chinook and Long Beach. We were in a full hook up spot, and while it did not provide much privacy, it was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaint we had was that we had one...

We stayed for 4 nights in August. Nice grassy but not many trees on the RV full hook up side. Only about 5 spots had level gravel pads. The rest were uneven grassy. It has 3 showers in bathroom. Clean but old. Laundry. Cute cabins and lots of space between trailers. There was access to a stream but that's all....

While this KOA site is large, clean and conveniently located next to the 101, it feels like staying in a field. All amenities are there, but the location isn't the greatest and the site doesn't feel cozy for a longer stay. I was travelling in a car and stayed on a tent site. It's a fair walk to the restrooms...

Nice large campground with few amenities. We came for the beach though so amenities weren't as important this trip. Little pricey for the off season (not fishing season) and campground was only about 10% booked and most were tent campers. Nice staff and clean grounds. They did have small playground for kids, horseshoe pit, and volleyball net up.

Nice bigger park. It can handle very big class A rigs pulling a boat. There are lots of tent spaces, and quite a few RV spaces as well, though not all are full hook up they do have water and electric. The staff there were very nice. The laundry mat was clean, as was the game room and store which...

Compared to other KOA's this has minimal amenities and the campground itself needs some serious attention. The roads are not gravel or paved, so if it rains, which it does in this area a lot, the roads to turn mud. If you make any trips to your car or the bathroom be prepared to wear your rain boots and hose...

This was NOT what we expected. Though the campsites are large, the highway noise is SO loud, it makes it difficult to hear or sleep. The facilities are TERRIBLE. The toilets did not flush, but people kept using them. Sanitary napkin cans were overflowing with used tampons and pads. There were wads of used toilet paper scattered all around. I...

We were looking forward to our recent camping trip to the Ilwaco KOA, but after one night, we were ready to go home. There is road noise no matter where you are in the park, and we thought it would be much closer to the beach, given the photos on the website. The beach is several miles away... We have...

I formerly was a member of a local Recreation group that owns local sites. That being said, this place isn't perfect but it is definitely a work in progress. I have a travel trailer so the bathroom is not as crucial, but I do use the showers, and this was just as nice as the (expensive)membership places. They are in...

Situated on a thin sliver of land between the wide-open Pacific and the protected waters of Willapa Bay, this is just the place to enjoy beaches, the boardwalk, the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, lighthouses, fresh seafood and charter fishing in the ocean or the Columbia River. The Washington State International Kite Festival is held just two miles away in Long Beach every August, and there's a Rod Run in September on the peninsula.
