A bit of old with new; Hotel Planter has been extensively renovated, rooms are clean, tastefully decorated and each one is unique. Stayed here one night on our way to Port Townsend for a weekend getaway with friends. Right on Main Street, which is very convenient, however can be a bit noisy with the sounds of trucks and cars. The...

We booked in for a girls weekend. Love it. The rooms were so cute and decorated with "old" charm. The rooms all had a private bathroom and they were very clean. The courtyard looked amazing however we were rained out. I will go back in the spring. The staff were great to deal with too.

Perfect location, right on the Main Street of "downtown" La Conner. Older hotel; this is a heritage building which comes with ambiance, history and minor idiosyncrasies. Not good if you need an elevator. Lovely courtyard. Wonderful bakery/cafe across the street.

We found the charming town of La Conner by chance on a road trip from Denver to Vancouver. It's an exquisite little spot on the water and we were looking for an equally charming place to stay. We found it, with the delightful Hotel Planter. This is an historic building that has been beautifully restored by its owners. There are...

Very clean history hotel surrounded by shops, restaurants and a variety of activities for all ages. That compensates the very high room rates -European plan- for a comparable accommodation during the high season. The hotel is on a second floor with no elevator. Staff is friendly but non intrusive.

We stayed for my 50th Birthday, and were treated exceptionally well. There was a problem with our window, and it was fixed immediately. Nice location right in the heart of La Conner, overlooking the street was a very interesting view! Well equipped room for an old hotel, lots of history. We would highly recommend staying here, as long as a...

We come to La Conner two or three times a year to enjoy this beautiful little town and its surroundings. We usually stay outside of town, but this time we decided to try the Hotel Planter, which is right on main street La Conner. Other reviewers have provided adequate descriptions of the nature of an historic inn, so I will...

This is a classic vintage hotel of 12 rooms occupying the second floor overlooking the main street of La Conner at its south end. This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. The rooms are cozy but are likely bigger than they were in the hotel's original configuration years ago as a 22-unit rooming house with shared bathrooms....
