Bavarian River House is truly lovely - every single room in this exquisite B & B is unique. The food was excellent and the location can't be beat - just steps away to all the fun things to do in Leavenworth. This B&B is elegant without being pretentious. I came with girlfriends and definitely will be back with my husband.... More

This place is unbelievable. Beautiful rooms out of my dreams with four poster beds, fireplaces, lush fabrics, charming amenities and flawless service overlooking the river a block from town. We have already decided to go back annually, at least.

One-of-a-kind "castle" atmosphere lent spectacular ambience and a post-card backdrop to a perfect weekend. Cozy rooms, lovely common areas appointed with a Bavarian castle in mind. If you designed a story-book locale overlooking a winding river, this would be it. The accompanying perks are top-flight. Limo tour to spectacular local wineries with outstanding wines. Recommendations for top area restaurants and... More

“Be cautious about the lower level room with the hot tub outside of the window. If there are people that get in during the wee hours then you could be awakened if they are not courteous.”

“We had the castle and loved it, though it was dark and my eyesight isn't the best. It is upstairs with also the Palace room and children are not allowed up there so that's nice. There is no resident living on the premises so our 1st night we had the entire Inn to ourselves.”

“The castle room is very dark. If that's not your liking, consider the Palace room. Both are on the top floor and have great river views.”
