We stayed at the Willows Inn for one night in July 2016. The trip was planned about two months ahead as an add-on after coming back from Vancouver. We had wanted to visit Lummi Island and also try the Willows Inn restaurant (separate review incoming). As there were limited availabilities, we had to search different dates. After a number of...

One of the best meals and restaurant experiences of my life. I took my wife here for dinner and a night on our wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect, amazing, and unforgettable. The food was delicious, unique, and beautiful. There were several times, I experienced flavors for the first time in my 40 years. The service of course was impeccable. Such...

...we enjoyed our accommodations and the view, although it was a bit of a struggle for us two septuagenarians to get there. Fortunately a friend assisted with impromptu valet service. In fact, I think the inn should have alerted me when I made the two-night reservation the "Cottage" would be a bit of a walk uphill from the parking lot....

Our son was turning 50 and treated the family to this special dinner with overnight at the lodge. It was a truly special event - though I have one caveat in that our 16-year-old grandson didn't eat much until the bread course, not being a fan of fancy seafood. The service was helpful, the servers charming, and it was a memorable...

The restaurant at the Willows Inn is a special, once in a lifetime experience. 19 unique, amazingly curated courses of freshly foraged veggies + herbs, and seafood caught 2 hours before we sat down.....accompanied by wonderfully paired wines. Not easy to get to this tiny piece of paradise, yet so worth the journey

We had a fantastic meal and an amazing time at the Willows Inn. I've posted the whole experience in my food and travel blog : (travel-gourmand.com/2016…). Food was great. Service has a few hit and misses. Two days before our reservations we were alerted that the price increased from $175 to $195, which makes me wonder how often they raise...

If you want to experience the bounty of the Pacific Northwest in an ingenious yet simple presentation by chef Blaine Wetzel, the Willows Inn on Lummi Island is the place for you. From the vegetables and herbs they grow on their own a farm near the Inn, fruits from local farmers, the seafood and fish from Puget Sound, foraged mushrooms...

Like many others, the food experience here is beyond amazing. We loved every bite, although small, but so so tasty. We loved the wine pairings, appreciating they would be local and unique. The breakfast was also delicious and absolutely something not to miss. The room was nice, and we slept well, but not on par with the rest of the...

Impeccably orchestrated meal of countless delights including some of my favorites- crab, mussels, lamb, chanterelles - and many new items. Everything is presented perfectly. The staff are attentive without being obsequious. We stayed at the Loganita Cabin, which is a comfortable walk from the Inn. I wish I could have stayed there for the week.

We spent 1 night at The Willow Inn on August 4, 2016. We stayed off site in the Loganita Cabin, and had dinner and breakfast the next day. Our closest friends had stayed in the past and raved about it. Now for the past 14 years, we have vacationed together and had foodie vacations at some of the finest restaurants...
