We stayed 2 nights, one of which was my husband's birthday (a milestone) and couldn't have been made more welcome by Donn and Kat. It's the detail that impressed us - the fantastic food left in the fridge, Donn moving a hummingbird feeder purely for my enjoyment, the wonderful array of books in our extensive suite, the gardens ... My wife and I were so fortunate to stumble upon Adytum when planning our anniversary trip in the Northwest. We stayed for two nights between Seattle and Portland, and we wish we could have stayed for a week! Kat and her husband have thought of every detail in making this a truly special retreat. The kitchenette was well equipped and... More

I have stayed here several times and the experience was more than 5 Stars! (Why does Trip Advisor only allow us to rate a place up to 5 stars?) Both the host and hostess were attentive and tuned-in - there when needed but respectfully away when not needed. The view, the rooms, the overall experience is incomparable and if anyone... More

My Husband and I stayed for the weekend. We had a view of the lake and the grounds were beautiful. The owners were great. They left plenty of food for us and even had foods that I could eat. It is a great place to stay if you what to explore Mt Rainier and St Helen.

Our family of 4, myself, husband and two children (girl - 15 and boy - 13 years old) stayed on the upper floor Star of the North 2 bedroom suite, last year for two nights in August. Like everyone else has said in their reviews, this is a special place worthy of your attention if you happen to be traveling... More

We were so impressed with the property and the amazing view we were provided from our top deck. We were greeted by a friendly dog and Katherine and felt immediately at home! Our room was homey and comfortable and even though we were connected to the main house we felt completely secluded. We enjoyed relaxing in our room, on the... More

We had a fantastic stay at Adytum. What an amazing place with fabulous owners that made us feel very welcome. Kat was a perfect host and although we didn't have time to enjoy all of the gardens it is a truly relaxing environment and our only wish was that we could have stayed longer.

We came to this beautiful bed & breakfast quite by accident, as we were just looking for a place to stay for the night on a three week road trip. What a treat! Kat welcomed us with a chilled bottle of white wine in the beautifully decorated upstairs suite. We saw a lovely sunset over the lake. The beds were... More

I have just returned home from the most restful, reset-my-mindset journey! Not only is the view breathtaking, the birdsong is absolutely symphonic. The grounds are purely joyous...the koi pond and water feature quickly becoming one of my favorite places to sit with my thoughts. Exactly what I needed. And the suite, the Orion suite...oh my, perfectly luxurious and private. The... More
