This place has its following but unfortunately it wasn't a good fit for my wife and I. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days in the "Mala" cabin and paid about $183 for the weekend nights and $146 for the other nights. The "Mala" cabin is about 500 yards up the hill from the bay and cafe. THE GOOD: Doe...

We stayed at this "resort" on August 19 and 20. It is like going to a hippie commune from 1960's or 1970s. The people who give this place 4 or 5 stars seem to have camped or slept in a yurt and there are lots of camping spaces and yurts on the property. I guess they would rate all pop...

The waitress informed me point blank no accommodation for diet restrictions was permitted. I was very excited to see rice noodles, kale and other seldom seen foods on the menu, but there was not one entree I could eat in its entirety. I asked for the individual items that I can eat and was immediately told that they make no...

We camped out in the Sea Sparkles site which was one of the furthest points from the main area, right on the water. After our dinner at the cafe, and a naked dip in the hot pools, we sat outside our tent and watched the stars. We ended up hearing whales breaching for about an hour. In the morning we...

Once arruving youvferl as if you are at the end of the universe. You czn see the water lapping in the distance streaching out over vast expanses to the main land. The drive actoss the island to get there was beautiful and not to be rushef. We stopped in the billage of olga on our way. The cabins were clean...

My boyfriend and I (and our 2 dogs) just came back from a wonderful stay at Doe Bay. We stayed in Sea Yurt and although it's a short hike (like 3-4 minutes) down, you get the benefit of privacy and the ocean, steps from the front door! The yurts don't have power or water so be prepared for that but...

Really I would give this place 3.5 stars but isn't an option. This, place really grew on me over our 3 day stay with our 2 sons, aged 9 and 13. We do quite a bit of camping, and staying in a rustic cabin was a few steps up from this. At first, I was disappointed with the quality of the...

Doe Bay has one of the most beautiful pieces of property you could ask for. They also have a very large garden, where most of their fresh produce comes from; you can taste that it was picked probably a few hours before you eat it. But don't stay here if you want to relax in comfort. I stayed in one...

We stayed at Doe bay for three nights in a 8 person Deluxe cabin. We booked this cabin so we would have adequate room for our family of 6 and a place to cook meals as well. This was good in theory, in practice it was a different story. The cabin did have 8 beds, one queen and a set...

This place is BEAUTIFUL. It is more set up for glamping than as a resort---and this isn't communicated as well as it could be. We stayed in the tree house, there is no kitchen or coffee and the communal kitchen (two stoves/ranges, 1 microwave, one coffee brewer and 2 large refrigerators you can use as long as food is labeled)...
