Very dissapointed. Have stayed at various places in town. From the web site and road it looks good. The view is great, but thats it. Room is cramped, musty, and in need of updating. I have seen bigger showers in an RV. The bed was...More
We stayed in one of the waterfront suites. So no issues with road noise. No smell issues. Clean, quirky, fun rooms with a big jacuzzi tub. Wacky, faux French Provincial furnishings added to the experience. Great shower with very nice accessories. Short walk to town,...More
This hotel is right on the water, and their price reflects it! The water view from our room was amazing! But, it' not only on the water, it's on the main road, too. Even with the windows closed, there was significant traffic noise. The walk...More
This hotel was a mind blowing dump at very high prices. It has not been renovated or updated ever and is a filthy fire trap. We arrived in the evening on a weekend and were checked into room #24 which is nearly indescribable, but I...More
The room was rundown with old, beat-up furniture and a mouldering carpet. We noticed a strong body odor smell in the room when we checked in, but figured we could open the windows to air it out. At 180/night, we normally would have asked for...More

Thank you for your interest in Tides Inn. The 2 queen, dog-friendly room does have a water-view and a small patio off of the entry door. It is part of our original building which is more like a traditional beach front inn with exterior entrance. The rooms are dated, but it is clean with a charming feel.
Also, the room is reasonably quiet as it is on the water-side of the building and not the street side. The room is on the ground floor and that section of the room is a single story with no rooms above the room. Finally, there is no noise factor from the ferry to be concerned about.
I hope the information was helpful and we look forward to having you stay with us. Please don't hesitate to contact us at 1-800-822-8696 if you have any further questions or concerns. Thank you.
