Our room was spacious and directly faced Port Townsend Bay, so we could watch the sailboats racing and the ferries coming and going. The room included a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi tub (that we did not use). The furniture might be called rococo, and...More
We had a problem with the room we reserved. It was Rhody Festival weekend and they were booked. Charles, the manager, personally handled the situation and was able to provide us with a great accommodation for our 2 night stay. The room was lovely and...More
This place has so much potential. We paid $184 for a king suite. The carpet has stains all over it, the walls are scuffed everywhere and need repainted, there is hair stuck to the wall in the bathroom, and the sheets on the bed have...More

Thank you for your interest in Tides Inn. The 2 queen, dog-friendly room does have a water-view and a small patio off of the entry door. It is part of our original building which is more like a traditional beach front inn with exterior entrance. The rooms are dated, but it is clean with a charming feel.
Also, the room is reasonably quiet as it is on the water-side of the building and not the street side. The room is on the ground floor and that section of the room is a single story with no rooms above the room. Finally, there is no noise factor from the ferry to be concerned about.
