Although we did not stay in the hotel itself, we stopped by the Belmont for dinner. We were a little hesitant at first because the lobby area seemed a bit uninviting (an almost dead container plant?!) but the menu really sounded nice. Well, we were absolutely stunned by just how good the seafood was!! Every dish was perfect. SO happy...

Port Townsend is very expensive, it's hard to find something at a good price. The Belmont inn Hotel is right in the middle of main street and it's medium pricy. it's weird....the reception is the one of the restaurant and the entrance of the hotel is the little door close to the restaurant entrance. they'll give you the keys to...

For the price (60 dollars) we got a nice big room. It was old, but not dumpy or run down. Kind of charming in an old-timey hotel kind of way. No TV, but the bed was really comfortable. Our experience was fine, and I don't know why everyone's giving such negative reviews. Nothing fancy or shiny, but it was great...

Took quite awhile to warm up. Spacious room but small bathroom. Lots of creaky narrow stairs. Windows don't close well so wind blew in sand and grit. Right on the water so the view was nice. OK, but would not stay there again.

We stayed at The Belmont for an extended Memorial Day weekend trip. We were in one of the street view rooms, not the beach view rooms that have the lofts that several have complained about. Nothing to say about the size of the lofts. We appreciated the attempts the Belmont has made to keep to the original feel of the...

I reserved and paid for this room at the Belmont several months in advance of my son's wedding. I asked for a room to sleep 4 which technically I received only was not told that 2 of us would have to climb a ladder to reach our bed and then remember not to stand up! I paid $149 a night...

Lets see, dissapointed, no hot water, to take a shower or bath this morning. Had to locate someone that worked there, told them we had no hot water & the man went into a room, came out & then came into our room and said see there is hot water. So you probably want to request hot water at check...

I have to believe that if skyscrapers can keep bird crap off of their windows, that the Belmont could manage to do it as well. If the toilet, that is not an antique, barely flushes, it must be fought with. The handle is about to fall off. When you do manage to get it to flush it spits at you....

I recently stayed at the Belmont with my husband, mother, and two children and we found the room spacious and nicely decorated. My children loved the bed up in the loft, and the adults all enjoyed the view of the water. The place itself definitely looks like it's been around since the 1880's (warning: the 25+ stairs and the balcony...

Got here a few hours ago, and I'm so displeased with this place that I had to go ahead and write my review. Style: Horrible - there is no art anywhere, badly lit stairways, no curtains, just some gaudy looking wallpaper, antique lamps and furniture. How clean: Ha!!!! they gave me 6 pillows, 4 of them have dried blood stains...

“If you really want to stay here, and can spend the extra money, go for either room 3 or 4 with the beachfront and water views -- and hope they have improved the housekeeping. And ask if the leg on the hassock in room 3 has been fixed yet, and have they unstopped the sink.”
