One block off of Water Street, in the heart of Port Townsend. Easy walking to most retail and entertainment. Staff very proud and enthusiastic for the restored Victorian hotel, now with all suite rooms; well appointed in Victorian furnishings. We were two couples, two rooms for the weekend; very enjoyable stay.

Check-in was a breeze. A step back in time to immerse ourselves in Port Townsend's history. Our corner suite was very comfortable with with great ventilation and staff provided fans to counter the 90 degree heat of the day. Very quiet to sleep, with a fresh scones, muffins and juice at our door upon rising. We'll be back. Pat

Dear Guest, Port Townsend is one of the finest illustrations of a Victorian seaport with all the restored historic architecture. Nice to know you enjoyed the stay, and we look forward to your next visit. Best regards,

This is an older building that has been renovated from old apartments into hotel suite rooms. The location is great, in town and near restaurants and shopping. There isn't any air conditioning because typically Port Townsend isn't that hot (we're having a hot summer this year), but there is a ceiling fan, and a box fan is provided. The rooms...

We arrived in Port Townsend and found a room at the Bishop Hotel. We had bicycles and the staff arranged for storage in the basement. The room was spotless and very comfortable with beautiful furniture. No air conditioning although I would be surprised if it was ever required. Ceiling fangs and portable fans were there. If stairs are a problem...

For our latest visit to Port Townsend, we decided to check out one of the heritage hotels rather than our normal B&B choices. The Bishop Victorian Hotel seemed to fit the bill - central, decent sized rooms and in a reasonably quiet area.  The two of us stayed in Room 20 with its own separate sitting area, complete with gas...

My wife and I stayed at the Bishop whilst on our honeymoon in June for one night. We loved everything about the Hotel- the friendliness at check-in, the helpful staff, the size of the rooms, the magnificent Victorian decor and cleanliness of the room, the coffee maker, and the location to Port Townsend's attractions- everything about the Bishop was perfect-...

The Bishop Victorian Hotel is in a historic building where tobacco was once stored in the upper floors. There is a history of the location in the guest services book. The bed was comfortable, the amenities nice. We were within walking distance of the boat harbor where we took our four hour whale watching tour. Many choices of restaurants nearby....

My husband and I have stayed at the Bishop twice now and loved both stays. It is in a great location. The Bishop is right next to the Main Street where all of the shops and restaurants are. The rooms and hotel itself help paint a picture of what it was like 125+ years ago. A very neat experience and...

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the decor and hospitality shown at the Bishop. So relaxing and close to all the downtown Port Townsend "hot spots". Do not judge a book by its cover as from the outside it looks like a run down warehouse. SURPRISE! Inside is a totally renovated hotel but with tastefully placed antique furniture....

Rooms are 25 steps up or higher on the 3rd floor. The staff did not offer to help with luggage. Screens were missing so we could it open the windows and the room was stuffy. Breakfast was minimally acceptable. Altogether, not so great. They do have pretty furniture of that's what you want.

Thank you for the compliment on the furniture---we’ve spent time collecting antiques over the years. We apologize that our staff neglected to offer assistance with your luggage up the stairs. This historic building was not equipped with an elevator, so the stairs are part of the charm. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Our breakfast is a continental breakfast with...
