We were very excited when we drove up to the Manresa Castle. The building was amazing. We had a late arrival and called ahead to let the front desk know. They were very kind and assured us our room would be held for us. When we arrived, we were met by the front desk clerk and she gave us our...

My husband had booked 2 nights here as part of my birthday celebration. Front desk staff was cheerful and friendly. The place is old and one of the reasons people stay here is for the history of the place and old style furnishings and window coverings. Our first room was actually 2 rooms - a bed in each part -...

February 8, 2013 Our experience at Manresa Castle We started off the first evening without an elevator and a room on the third floor, although the front desk offered to take us up on the elevator, this was awkward. Entering the room we found an old, Victorian style room with warn bedding. After settling into the room we realized that...

To whom it may concern. I think it’s best to inform you before we mention on rating sites how we feel with our stay at Manresa Castle. My husband and I stayed Friday, January 4, 2013 for our wedding anniversary. Much to our disappointment The restaurant was not open. But even more disappointing was how downright nasty and dirty the...

I have a mixed opinion of the Castle, Of course it is really unique and my boyfriend and I had an alright stay. The staff was super friendly and let us check in an hour early, which was really nice of them. However I was very disappointed when I found out the restaurant and lounge was closed for the weekend...

The three ladies working in the office when we checked in,were sweet, friendly and very knowledgeable about the Port Townsend area and gave us great recommendations for restaurants & things to do! We had room 304 which gave...

The Manresa is almost like going back in time. Nice rooms & friendly staff. In room 306 we incountered the spirit Kate. She loved turning the flashlight on. I was in the bathroom making up my face. When walking out of it I had the cobb web feeling on my face. That indicates she was touching it cause of being...

If the opportunity arises to visit Pt Townsend and you are planning an overnight, the Castle is the place to stay! In the area to visit relatives (Seattle), we came to the pennisula for the day, ended up spending the night and could not wait to tell about the adventure the following day. Hauntings and strange occurances in the short...

Manresa castle, charming, elegant rooms with a exception staff. I have satyed in a few different rooms now at the castle and every one of them are unique and beautiful in their own way. The port town has an amazing personality that truly compliments this fine establishment. Room rates are beyond reasonable and if interested the staff will guide you...

This historical building was at one time a monestary that was converted into a hotel. All of the rooms are decorated with a late 1800 or early 1900 motif. There is a restaurant on the lower level and the rooms are on the upper level. This is not a modern hotel. It is beautiful and has a courtyard with a...
