Firstly, Jim and Gail have a beautiful home, in a perfect location (5 minute walk to the town), with parking to the side of the house. When I arrived in the evening, Jim greeted me at the door, showed me my room and got me...More
The hospitality at this place was so amazing. A very warm, cozy, and welcoming environment with a wonderful breakfast every morning. Highly recommended! I enjoyed reading my book on the porch with the water in view and not to mention hearing all the beautiful songs...More
This is a great place to stay (if you can get in -they're booked well in advance and usually sold out.) Gail and Jim are warm hosts and the convenient location to restaurants, downtown, walking on the beach and old Victorian mansions is a bonus.
We've stayed here before and really enjoyed our two nights in the Lighthouse Suite. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast is great. Easy walk to the waterfront downtown area and Doc's Restaurant is close by.

There is 1 very cozy bedroom on the main floor. I know because that is the room we stayed in. The bed was very comfortable but the room is tight. The bathroom is private for that room however it is outside the bedroom around the corner off the little back hallway. A little quirky but it is an old home modified as a B & B. The owners are super nice. If a person knows the clearance their whhelchair needs, it would be simple to measure widths of the hallway, around the bed, bath etc... The bathroom is also a narrow room but getting into the shower, I think was almost flush to the floor and I think they had safety handles. I think. There are a few steps to negotiate upon entering through the front door as well as their side porch. But I wouldn't think twice about calling and asking. The owners might be prepared to accommodate your need in ways I am not aware. It is truly a lovely, restful place to stay with a delicious breakfast for you the next morning. Definately worth it!

"My only experience was with the Lighthouse Suite. I didn't view the other guest rooms."
