We have stayed at Lake Quinault Lodge several times but wanted to go for Valentines. We were not disappointed. Our upgraded room had a fireplace and wonderful view of the lake. The main lodge fireside room was a cozy place to read, do crosswords, or jigsaw puzzles while watching mother nature thru the windows. The special Valentines dinner was to... More

Recently moved back to the Seattle area and was looking forward to a visit to Lake Quinault Lodge. The lodge was just as beautiful as I remembered. Clean and relaxing especially sitting by the fire. Lake Quinault has many hikes available around the area. We were lucky enough to see a bald eagle at the end of our hike. :-)... More

We have stayed at the main lodge at least 20 times, our first 1965. The facility has somehow managed to retain its charm and character even through extensive renovation. The surroundings are beautiful and the lobby always relaxing. This last trip however, we were a bit disappointed. It had to do with the restaurant and menu. The latter seemed a... More

We stayed here midweek during the winter (Feb '14) and had a very relaxing time. Since this was our second visit we did not have to do or see everything again. Every morning we enjoyed lounging around the lobby by the fireplace and there was always room to sit. Being here off-season was a great choice and the perfect respite... More

Great customer service, great dining. The staff makes you feel like you belong. The accommodations are great but best of all the atmosphere takes you to a whole new level of relaxation. Beauty, quietness, family, great food. Doesn't get any better than this.

We only stayed one night here at the end of our roadtrip in Oregon and Washington. We stayed in a lakeside room and, although we did not book a renovated one in an effort to keep our costs down, we are sure that the one we were allocated had been refurbished. The room was large and had a small balcony... More

My wife and I took our first trip to this area in the Olympic National Park. We were amazed at the charm and view of the lake from our room. The huge fireplace provided an relaxed and cozy area that we enjoyed both evenings of our stay. In addition, the restaurant in the lodge had excellent food and the service... More

My wife and I spent 4 days at Lake Quinault Lodge at the end of January / beginning of February. We had travelled from Scotland to attend a wedding at the lodge. We stayed in a fireplace room with a lake view which was wonderful. We walked in the rain forest in wet and dry weather and it was a... More

3rd trip to the lodge. First stay in refurbished fireplace room which are excellent. The Salmon House 1 mile down the road has the best salmon I have ever had. Baked with creamy dill sauce. Food at lodge expensive and pedestrian. Lovely location.Wifi spotty.

It was the perfect 3 day mid-week get away spot. The price was right and our fireplace room worked for us with a beautiful view of the lake from our deck. Comfy bed, but the pillows were mushy. The first night in the dining room the seafood shipment hadn't arrived that day, but the crab cakes were available and very... More
