After a day in beautiful North Cascades National Park, the Totem Trail Motel offered excellent accommodates for our one-night stay. This is an old-school, motor-court type of property, but it has been updated nicely and is more than adequate. Our room was nicely prepared and exceptionally clean. The owner provided various kitchen supplies, like knives and forks, paper plates and...

This is a small, 8-unit motel, we stayed in room 5. The rooms are fair sized but have a lot of furniture in them. There is a very soft queen bed, an over stuffed chair and ottoman with an end table, a TV and free wifi and a floor fan. A separate table serves as the kitchen area hosting a...

This place is a great gateway to the Cascades. We liked how Sonja had thought of everything, She made us welcome and explained everything when we arrived. We appreciated this. It's a clean place at a very good price with proper hospitality. Also: The BBQ area has been nicely thought through. We ate there on several occasions (with local organic...

Located near the entrance of the North Cascades it's a great choice. Must say if it wasn't for Trip Advisor I would have passed. It had a number of good reviews. Small clean comfortable good choice. Kind of like staying at home the owner does everything themselves

We stayed a few nights for visiting the Norht Cascades National Park. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The wifi connection was on our first evening not so good, the next nights were a lot better (for whatever reason). The bed was comfortable. One con is that you here almost everything in the room next to...

One of the least pricey places we stayed on our 10-day trip to the Seattle area, and you get what you pay for. Room was very modest, with no fridge in the room (there is one outside, that must be 50 years old easily, with a rusty door and creaky handle), and just a shower (and a very small one...

We stayed 2 nights here. Pros - clean, very quiet, cutlery and crockery provided, comfy bed m'wave, TV. Owner washes up any dirty dishes you may have if you put them in her bowls, m'wave in some rooms and one also in a detached hut. One shared fridge for all 8 rooms - OK as we were the only ones...

We had a mix up in our reservations (owners fault) and he helped us get a room here. Lovely place with a wonderful owner, Sonia. The motel is small but so clean and comfortable, we had a great nights sleep. There is no ac but the cool nights with windows open and a fan in the room made it very...

I almost always take photos of the rooms where we stay and I didn't this time; that maybe says something about my reaction to the place. It was . . . fine. I had checked reviews on tripadvisor beforehand so I'm just going to expand upon those and/or add a few fresh new details. First thing you need to know:...

A breath of fresh air right out of the 50's style of motor lodgings. Small little appointments that make your stay more enjoyable. ie. real glasses, including wine glasses that have the special touch of a napkin in each one. A motel that is clean and well cared for.
