I can find nothing bad to say about this B&B. The food was SPECTACULAR. I wanted to stay another night just so I could have another breakfast. The host and owner, Olaf, obviously has a passion for what he is doing. We stayed in the caboose names the "Grape Escape" and also toured the Lavender caboose as well as the...

Not clean, rude staff that seemed to be put out by any request. The shampoo bottle in our car was about empty as well as the hand soap container. No privacy for bathing as well as having a tub only makes it a bit difficult to get in and out of and wash your hair. Not an ideal situation. Cars...

We stayed at the Red Caboose Getaway in the Circus caboose. From the moment the door opened, there was something to look at. From the personalized magnet "welcome" to the lions in the "cages", nothing was missed. Bed was comfortable, caboose stayed warm with the propane fireplace/stove. You can absolutely not miss the breakfast!! The atmosphere of the dining car...

I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive at first about staying here when we planned a Sequim getaway. It seemed not quite in town and the sign advising people that they would have to pay a fee to take pictures of the caboose put me off a bit. We were warmly welcomed by the owner's son, Leif, and...

My husband and I stayed in the Circus themed train and were amazed by the attention to detail in our little caboose. Lots of circus memorabilia, with the head of the bed under the "big top", with fun circus posters and paintings throughout. Breakfast was a main attraction starting with a warm welcome to the dining car by head waiter,...

We spent a night at the Red Caboose Getaway in September 2011 when visiting Olympic National Park. Its a unique experience and very well done and cosy. The caboose was decorated so well and was cosy and warm with a great shower. We were fascinated by the breakfast personally prepared by the owners. It was a lavish spread served in...

The authenticity of my Red Caboose Getaway stay never stopped surprising me, from the little touches in my sleeping caboose to the lovely china on which breakfast was served in the dining car. I slept like a log in the wonderful bed that was both firm and soft at the same time; enjoyed the bird's-eye view when I climbed to...

We stayed two nights in the Grape Escape. Each caboose is done up in a unique theme, and great care is taken to transform the authentic little caboose into that design. The Grape Escape is a wine themed car, and full of fun wine-related things. One thing that you should know is that most of the cars have only a...

We spent two nights here in November. "Unique" is not an overused adjective. We have traveled all over the world and have never seen anything like it. Each "room" is indeed an old caboose - our "theme" was the circus, and very comfortable and well appointed indeed. Breakfast was served in an authentic Burlington Zephyr dining car. The four courses...

Having your own caboose is unique & amazing! Olaf & Charlotte are wonderful friendly hosts. Very knowledgeble of the area & trains. Each caboose has a different theme. The dining car is First Class. The breakfast, homeade by Charlotte, deserves more than 5 stars! We stayed in the "Grape Escape" a wine themed caboose. Olaf & Charlotte didn't miss a...
