Upon checking in we were greeted very kindly and promptly helped. We entered our room and it definitely was more than expected, the bed was great and my sister said the pull out was perfect for her. Jetted tub, 2 TV's, frig and micro in room.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 25 August 2016 via mobile

Didn't know what to expect booking a historical down town hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff friendly, the interior modernized but still historic, rooms very nice, multiple options for designing, and best of all quiet. Would recommend for business , couples, and perhaps families with older teens. Several strong options for meals onsite. Within walking distance to Riverfront Park,...

I stayed here for a night after skiing up in BC before flying out of Spokane. I was pleasantly surprised. Overall, a small hotel, like 30 rooms or there abouts. I got one of the king-deluxe rooms. There was a fridge, microwave, large bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet. I did not hear my neighbors...

I love this hotel. It's close to great beer and food plus easy access to all downtown has to offer. If you prefer small places to chains, this is a good choice. I'm normally an Air BnB'er, but the Montvale is cozy enough to sway me away from the norm. The most comfortable stay at a reasonable price in downtown...

We booked a block of rooms at the Montvale for our son's wedding. Our experience couldn't have been better! We had to organize everything from the East Coast, but Anny Gold made everything easy. She and her staff were so professional, responsive, and helpful at every stage - from planning, to managing inevitable changes, to welcoming our guests. Our family...

Historic hotel that's been totally renovated, so everything was first-class. Most all the rooms are around a common historic atrium, with antique dressers, oil paintings, vases and other artwork. Room had very comfortable bedding, and a nice large tiled bathroom (although no soap/shampoo dish in tub/shower - very minor quibble.) Room was surprisingly quiet for downtown location (except for an...

Wow, what a lovely surprise! My father booked this hotel for a night away for us all and I cannot believe he selected it! I genuinely thought I was staying in high end, luxury accomodation. The interior is so stylish and grandios, and the rooms as very spacious with all working amenities. Quite stay and I was 100% be returning.

I was torn about reviewing the Montvale because I selfishly want to be sure there will always be availability for me when I travel to Spokane. This hotel is a real gem: the staff is friendly, pleasant, professional and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the toiletries are high end and the location is ideal to everything downtown. It...

But their Wi-Fi is not strong, fades in and out. And a safety bar in the shower would be a nice addition Friendly staff. Very nice room Within walking distance of fun shopping and eating options. I felt comfortable there as a solo traveller.

When I think of boutique hotels its usually London Paris or New Orleans, as there older cities that held on to the past and restored the beauty. This hotel in downtown Spokane has this quality, very well done restoration, holding onto the past yet modern in all the right amenities. The second floor common area is exceptional with a fireplace,...
