probably the best view in Westport, but the cottages are very cramped and old, you can shake you neighbors hand, I had to fight the sliding glass door to get it open and closed, the cottages on the far end are newer, the problem is you share the deck with your neighbor..awkward I've stay in three different cottages over the... This place is a writer's dream. Our cottage, number 11 was slightly askew and pointed us right towards the ocean. These little cottage/homes are like tiny homes on the sea! I was in love, despite how old the poor "cottage" must have been. Amazingly I snagged a last minute booking on a Sunday night, and I think that if these... More

First, let me say that I did not stay in a room at the Harbor Resort. Based on the other reviews, I guess that's a good thing. And based on the way most of the little cabins looked from the outside, it's probably a good thing, too. I was out walking around town one day while on vacation, and I... More

The Harbor Resort serves its purpose which is a place to stay. It is kind of neat how it sits out on the point of the harbor and ocean. The room is a bit cramped and being right on the marina and ocean the exterior has had some wear and tear as well. We were on the second floor and... More

Well I thought for the price rate at the least you would get a good comfortable bed and a more professional look to bedding it looked so unprofessional who puts the pillows over the top comforter it makes me feel like the bed was sleep in . The office manager scott i think thats his name was very very rude... More

The first time we went on vacation here we walked into our room and just started laughing. You get what you pay for. And here you are paying for location! What amazing views. He's the rooms are not the best but they work and we love it. It has become our special place together. We try to get away once... More

Very dirty rooms, black hair all over floors & pillows, trash in waste cans left from them sweeping floors and placing it in there instead of taking it out. Dishes in cupboard were not only dirty but a mishmash of whatever they could find I guess. Only 3 spoons 3 forks, nothing you would want to eat with. Bedding really... More

Our experience with this "Resort" was beyond disgusting. The fidge smelled like it had not been cleaned in years, the oven was black charred and greasy . The bathroom and bedroom floors were dirty. The bath fan did not vent it ground with a screeching sound. The linens were clean but stained. The deck area had not been cleaned of... More

I don't agree with the negative posts. The people there are so kind and very nice, they care about there customers very much, they aren't rude or stingy they welcome you with kind hearts. it's beautiful and comfy and so relaxing, perfect location and perfect scenery. The cottages are old and are well used, but it gives you that comfort... More

“For an overnight, just do the hotel. No refridge, but a coffee pot. For a nicer, relaxing stay, take the cabin. It has a full kitchen, silverware, full stove, etc. Smallest sleeps 3 or 4, larger ones have small closet sized room with bunks...sort of cute, and a fold out sofa and a queen bed.”
