My wife & I came here to go cross country skiing and stayed in their Partridge room which was beautifully appointed. Very clean and comfortable. Beds were delux. Our checkin process was great with a lot of information given to us by the hostess. Very friendly and helpful. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and trailhead.

We came to Winthrop to fly in the Winthrop Balloon Rally the first weekend in March, 2017. The Mt. Gardner Inn was a great place to stay. Close to the launch field, well kept and friendly service. Also provided a outside power for my trailer (a necessity for winter ballooning). We will definitely be back!!

We loved our room at Mt. Gardner Inn! It was perfect for my husband and I for a weekend getaway to see the Balloon Festival. Our bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the fridge and microwave were convenient. The room itself (Room 3) was just the right size for us. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided in...

Wonderful place to stay with beautiful view and friendly staff. The room was cozy and nicely decorated. Very clean and obviously given much thought when choosing linens and electronics. Sat on our deck and watched the deer come right to the property. My only complaint was how clearly I could hear the room next door late at night but that...

The Mt. Gardiner Inn provides a wonderful blend of value, comfort, and friendliness. I have stayed here many times, and always find the rooms to be both clean and well appointed, especially considering their competitive prices. The owners go out of their way to help your stay be comfortable, and give recommendations on places to go in the area that...

We stayed in the quail room, and loved everything about it. In short very nice, and a great deal at this price point. The bed like the valley was a slice of heaven on earth. Looking forward to our next cross country ski trip to the big timber loop, and fly fishing trip come summer with a box of streamers,...

We loved our stay at Mt. Gardner Inn. We stayed in the River Raven Suite and it was a treat! Very comfortable, beautifully decorated and peaceful...the perfect location for post-ski happy hour! We loved that the Inn is an easy walk to the main part of town and the community ski trail. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

We stayed in the Quail room for a long weekend. The room was very comfortable, new and clean. The inn is a short walk to the trailhead near the Winthrop ice rink and about 10 min walk to the 3 bears cafe, which by the way has excellent breakfast and coffee. Wonderful cross country skiing along the river and a...

My husband and I have been staying here for years during the winter. We choose it partly because it is a 3-block walk to the Winthrop ski trailhead. From there, it's another 5-10 minutes of walking into downtown. Our most recent stay was 11 nights, which made it possible to see how quiet things can be in the middle of...

I stayed here for 2 nights during a ski race. The property appears to be a newer construction and well built. It's small, which appealed to me because it's less busy and quieter than larger places. It's convenient to Winthrop, with a trail linking it to "downtown". The room was very clean and comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and...
