Normally we stay at much higher caliber venues however since Yakima was packed and the picking was slim, I tried the Sun Country Inn for a two night stay. We were in for a golf tournament and the only time spent in the room was for sleeping and that was just fine. TV was great with over 100 channels and... More

Very clean and comfortable and easy to access after a drive from Seattle through Mount Rainier park. Quite a way from downtown on the outskirts of Yakima but suited us fine for a night's sleep. Nothing detrimental to report. Good value.

The staff was always friendly and did their best to meet our needs during our stay - which extended for about a week. In casual conversation with the staff, I found out that they were working seven day weeks - which isn't good for morale, or healthy! The Wifi was probably the biggest source of frustration, because it was extremely... More

We were pleased with a recent stay. We've been there several times in past 5 or 6 years. And were happily surprised by pleasant, newly painted and carpeted room with 2 very nice queen beds. Even comfortable pillows! Linens not the newest, but everything was clean and fresh. Bathroom with tub/shower was very clean, but needed to have a couple... More

We booked this place for two nights to attend our granddaughter's All State Band event. After checking in...which wasn't bad at all...we headed to the room which was supposed to be non-smoking. The room was terrible...stale smoke smell, grimy carpet, a chair that was so dirty that i would not sit on it. The battery in the smoke detector was... More

Not a lot I can say about this place, other than I would gladly return. Friendly family run place in a convenient location. Nice room, room 111, friendly staff, excellent, comprehensive breakfast and all at a very good price. This place deserves supporting.

Our Expedia Itinerary said we had reserved two rooms with two queen beds each. When we arrived we were sent to rooms which had only one queen bed each. The night manager seemed confused. We agreed to have an extra cot put in each room for children and a crib for a baby. The manager had to phone the maintenance... More

Single female with one dog. In town on business for 6 weeks. I am staying elsewhere for the majority of my contract but needed to be out for this weekend and my company reserved this gem. To start, the area is not very safe. After I checked out, I followed through to see what the crime is in the area.... More

Spent over $1,000 for 3 weeks because my family was trying to find a house and close in on it. Would not give military discount. Accepted our dogs, however, one of them scratched off one part of the carpet. Manager wanted us to pay $500 for carpet. Saw an estimate and the carpet was only $291 - the manager/owner wanted... “If this is your last resort. Only stay one night and find another hotel. Choose a ground floor. Make sure you have pepper spray and something to protect you with. Manager allows underaged kids to rent rooms without even checking IDs. However, she had to check ours for some reason.”
