Our resort property starts out with Smoke Hole Caverns, the brand new gift shop, the main office, and our log motel being located on the same property. As you travel 2 miles north you will see separated the Smoke Hole Log Cabin Resort area and the Smoke Hole Cottage area. Both groups of cabins our located on their private properties and offer a simply gorgeous rural retreat to the Appalachian Mountains.

I stayed at the hotel, right by the gift shop / cavern. It's an older hotel, immaculatly clean and we'll kept. Staff were convivial and made the best recommendation for dinner ever. Cheetah B's. I'll be putting in a review of that shortly. But let me say this, locally raised beef, and bacon. Nuff said.

One of the best vacations we have had. The family cottages are nicely kept and have everything you need. We enjoyed our evenings sitting by the firepit and listening to the river run. Our days were spent exploring and hiking our beautiful state. We will definitely be back to trout fish in the spring time.

We stayed at the log motel. Our room was clean. It was nice to be close to the gift shop and the cave entrance. Our tour was interesting. The housekeeping and gift shop personnel were friendly. It would have been nice if there was an ice machine instead of a cooler with ice.

Had a very nice time there. The bed was very comfortable and the fact that they had lots of big comfy pillows was great. The bathroom was small but adequate and the towels provided were very thick . The location and people are great. Make sure you bring a camera with tons of photo opportunities everywhere you look. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is because the walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbors and no control over the ac. The room was warmer then we preferred while sleeping.

Cabins were so cute and completely outfitted with everything you would need. Pool as clean and inviting, It was an amazing trip. They helped us set up a beautiful dinner the host was so accommodating to our group.

This is a wonderful place to visit. Beautiful cabins and grounds. We stayed in the honeymoon cabin with hot tub. It was very nice. I will say that it took a while to fill but worth the wait. Facilities were perfect. We loved the pond fishing and kept almost 12 lbs of trout. Swimming pool was crystal clear and playground for kiddos. Lots to do and lots of other sights near by. Wish we stayed longer but will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort. From the moment we arrived at the Gift Shop / check in, we were met with kindness and charm. The Smoke hole staff are some of the most friendly and helpful we've experienced and we travel all over the globe. We upgraded from the motel to a cabin and glad we did. The cabin was lovely and well appointed, comfortable bed and front and back porches. Special mention about how comfortable the bed was, as this is very important to us. The grounds were immaculate, pool sparkling clean. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. Honestly, it's the people who make a resort or any hotel worth staying there. We toured the caverns which are smaller than some but still a fun learning experience. The gift shop was fabulous too. We will definitely return and highly recommend Smoke Hole resort.…

I just loved the quite and beauty of the area. I stayed in the sweatheart cabin. It was clean and had everything you could need. The staff were so friendly and so willing to help with any question. I would recomend this for a quite weekend getway. abosultley beautiful views.

Everyone was super friendly and very helpful! Highly recommended for all ages! Lots of fun things to do and beautiful scenery! Will most definitely be visiting again very soon! Horse rides, caverns, hiking and so much more! Loved all the gift shops and yummy restaurants!

Our third year staying at Smokehole sweetheart cabins. We love it so much we got married at Seneca Rocks and we all stayed in the cabins. It was an absolutely perfect day/week! Everyone is so nice and helpful. The cabins and grounds are well kept and clean. We love it there!
