Lovely owner with great recommendations for the best ways to spend the weekend around town. Quaint, comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. The breakfast alone is worth the stay! Lobby has great books and games. Located on the main street within walking distance to a few restaurants and microbrewery. Nice river park a few blocks away. Would recommend.

I stayed in the Bright Morning for two nights just before Thanksgiving while mountain biking in the area. Despite having her Thanksgiving meal to prepare, Susan, the proprietor, kindly took time to prepare a delicious breakfast, and to help me map out potential riding routes. All of the facilities are in great shape, and the location cannot be beat-- right...

My boyfriend and I went to Canaan Valley for the weekend. The Bright Morning Inn was recommended to us for breakfast. The food was delicious! The staff was friendly and courteous. A neat building with lots of character and great atmosphere.

We passed through this tiny town on a hiking road trip. We loved this place so much that we considered driving out of our way to try and stay there again. The food quality, prices and portions are awesome. The owner and waitress were supremely hospitable and went out of their way to share very helpful information with us regarding...

Came here yesterday when I was in town for the weekend and couldn't leave town today without stopping in again. The best Sausage Gravy Biscuit ever. Cozy quaint atmosphere and a warm and attentive staff. The make you feel at home!

Took a weekend trip up to Davis, WV to take pics of the Blackwater Falls. The Bright Morning Inn was the perfect place to stay for my trip to the mountains. It's quiet, clean, and the breakfast was good. The owner and staff were very nice. I highly recommend.

This is the perfect place to disconnect from the busy routines of normal life and connect with nature. A few days here is enough to feel really refreshed. We stayed in doc's guesthouse, a spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated victorian house right behind the main inn that can accommodate up to 8 people. it has a kitchen, living room, washing...

Inn is in the little town of Davis, maybe two miles from Blackwater Falls State Park, about ten from Canaan Valley State Park, and an hour or so from Dolly Sods -- and perhaps three or four miles from Thomas, where there is live music virtually every night at the Purple Fiddle. The area is a Little Slice of Heaven....

What a wonderful place to stay. We arrived on Monday and owner had to leave so she left us the keys to our room and to the inn. Our rooms was #2 which had 2 beds which were very comfortable. Only problem for me was the climbing up and down of the stairs. Breakfast both mornings were good but since...
