Got my folks a room overlooking Kanawha falls, just downstream from the convergence of the New & Gauley Rivers; two of the world's TOP whitewater rafting, kayaking, &/or C1/2 rivers...tons of outdoor adventures: Summersville Lake pontoonin'/water skiing, jet boat rides at Hawk's Nest State Park; rafting, rock climbin', mountain biking via my old palz @ Class VI River Runnerz(800-CLASSVI), fall...

The Inn at Glen Ferris is chock full of history from days long past. It scenic views of the beautiful Kanawha Falls are awesome and quite serene. The building is on antique registry, the reseaurant serves home cooking. We have been here many times over the years and are pleased each and every visit. They do have rooms to spend...

Great location on the bank of the Kanawha River overlooking the falls. Off the beaten track, but right on the Midland Trail Scenic Byway, US 60. Old fashion furnishings and not luxurious. The restaurant in the new wing has a view of the river but is short on atmosphere. Dining room in the old part of the inn is small...

You know, this was fine for a one night stay in Gauley Bridge, WV. The mattress needs replaced unless you desire one without any firmness. Everything worked and seemed clean. Breakfast not included in price, and it took over 30' to get pancakes and sausage after order was placed, I kid you not. View of the Kanawha River was great!

I have stayed at the Glen Ferris Inn several times in the past few years, and I have fallen in love with it's quaintness and quirkiness. The Inn sits adjacent to Kanawha Falls, and the sound of the water lulls you to sleep if you have a room on the river side (recommended). Room furnishings are representative of an old...

We took a motorcycle trip to West Va. last June and spent one night at the inn. We traveled with a group of 16 and everyone enjoyed their stay. We had dinner and breakfast there and both meals was very good. We're doing another ride to West Va. in June, and everyone was happy to be going back for another...

Had a great meal today at Glenn Ferris Inn and I've yet to be disappointed since these latest owners have been in charge. Stayed at this lively Inn not long ago, was pleased with the quaintness of this old Inn. I love the view of the river and those Falls. I'm a former West Virginian and love visiting my Kanawha...

Wonderful historic inn at a beautiful spot on the river with multiple waterfalls. Fished in the back of the inn for an hour and caught a keeper large mouth bass. What a fun stay in such a beautiful and historic part of southern west Virginia.

The people that work here are great. They are very friendly and help you in any way. It is a beautiful place,we didn't get a chance to try the food but will try next time. The price is great too. You should visit here if you are close by.
