My husband and I stayed there this past weekend and loved it! The cabin (Mountaineer) was clean and very spacious, I was surprised that the kitchen was stocked with coffee, cooking oil, and various spices, although we went out to eat for most meals. The only complaint would be that a couple of the jets in the hot tub didn't...

Very comfortable with everything you need for a cozy weekend getaway. They deliver firewood right to your door and the hot tub on the porch is a great way to wind down in the evening. It's very quiet here and the snowfall amplifies the moonlight. They do have free wifi but it's nice to just unplug and play cards or...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Laurel cabin for a birthday getaway in mid August. Country Cabins had the easiest checkin and checkout process ever! I didn't have to actually speak to anyone. Our key was waiting at the door of our cabin when we arrived. The air conditioner was on, music was playing and there was a surprise...

We stayed in the Spencer cabin ~ one of the few pet-friendly cabins. There were 6 of us. The cabin size was fine for 6 and a dog. We loved the outside deck, chairs and hot tub ~ they were perfect for our group ! The location of the Spencer was very convenient for us as we had a boat...

Location was fantastic. We stayed there to be near a wedding at the confluence. Our cabin was the Appalachian and we stayed for 2 nights. The places are nice. My real complaint is for the price it really needs some updates to bring it out of the 1980's. Linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom and old cheap wooden towel racks...

We rented the "Spencer" cabin, and despite its proximity to Sunday Road (more like a country lane), the place was very, very quiet. The kitchen is very well stocked with every kind of pot,pan and tool most folks would need (we were pleasantly surprised to find an electric griddle!), they even provided some basics like paper towels, napkins and spices...

My wife and I seized the opportunity for a getaway while my son was at the National Boy Scout camp. Very nice Cabin... more like a house... clean, everything in working order. Hot tub was great. Plenty of towels and linens. This a beautiful area of WV, close to New River Gorge activities and Fayetteville. If I ever have the...

This was a very relaxing and hassle free visit. Booked the reservation on the phone. Receipt and keys left as promised on the door of the Laurel. Cute and very clean one bedroom cabin, equipped with everything you need for a romantic weekend. The fruit basket band champagne was a refreshing treat upon arrival. Thanks again for a beautiful, relaxing...

We stayed at Country Road Cabins in the "Marathon" cabin on the back of the property. The cabin was great! It had a big, comfortable king-sized bed, a nice sized hot tub on the back porch, a gas grill, air conditioning, a gas fireplace, washer/dryer, satellite TV and Wi-fi! They provided towels, bed linens, and almost everything you need for...

Went for our 18th anniversary. This place exceeded our expectations. Went in the middle of the week so it was very private. We highly recommend using this facility and taking advantage of the various baskets they have to offer.
