We frequent the New River Gorge for rock climbing and we love camping at Adventure on the Gorge. The facilities are clean and they have a restaurant on site as well. It is suited for small or large groups. They have many camping sites as well as cabins for rent. We typically tent camp when we are there. The bathrooms...

This is a great adventure spot. We went on early May and that is the only change I would make. The entire resort was not open and this hindered some of our plans. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin with a hot tub and we highly recommend this lodging option. Clean and stocked - it was perfect! We ate...

We had good times, cabin was good but few furnitures need to be replaced as we had an issue with one of the sofa bed. But we enjoyed outdoors and their outdoor activities were fantastics. Overall we are very happy and hope that they upgrade their furnitures to ensure a comfortable stay.

You simply must visit this resort. Enjoy what they have to offer. We went whitewater rafting but they have some many cool things to do. And the staff is THE best. Spend a day, spend a week, but this place should be on everyone's list to do.

From the restaurant to the rafting to the cabins - this place has it all and the BEST employees at each area. The hot tub was hot, our guide was knowledgeable and kept us safe. Even the bus ride was fun.

We had a wonderful stay in a cabin at AOTG. Not much was open at the resort for us to do off season but it was a great home base as we explored the area. Loved the outside hot tub!!! In the area, we highly recommend Horshoecreek Riding Stable - Gary was fabulous, flexible and great with all ages! We...

My husband and I decided to spend my birthday weekend here in June based upon all that the resort has to offer, conveniently located in one place. The resort itself is very well developed; everything is thoughtfully planned-out to be intuitive for visitors – from check-in to restaurants, the gift shop, pool, hiking trails, and lodging. We received excellent customer...

AOG has Excellent, Friendly service with a smile. The staff we dealt with were awesome. The white water guides were knowledgeable, expert, and extremely friendly. The New and Gauley rivers are truly top notch whitewater and the ratings of the rapids are spot on. There plenty of things to do at the resort to fill a family week long vacation....

“The cabins had paper towels, silverware, dish soap, towels, etc. it did NOT have an ice machine connected to fridge so bring your own ice. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable though squeaky plastic sound upon movement..it's true. We think the box springs may be worn? Anyway- still awesome!”
