We stayed here in February due to me having surgery at wvu. I rented from TripAdvisor and when I got there they charged me $40 extra for the stay bc of it. The beds are extremely lumpy and uncomfortable and the pillows were rock hard. The front of the hotel was all covered in ice and there was no salt at all thrown down on the parking lot or the entrance. The guy at the front desk was very kind. He is about the only person we seen there. I cant comment of the breakfast personally bc I had surgery that day and came straight 2 the room 2 try 2 sleep. It was very noisy and people in and out and loud at all hours. A guy and girl were arguing in the hallway by the pool entrance and cops came after the fact. I am giving it 2 stars ONLY bc of the kind gentleman at the front desk.
We really liked the hotel. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast was a real breakfast, did not use pool or fitness center but they looked nice. Was near some restaurants and a kroger. Wish it was a little easier to get to campus, but otherwise it was a good hotel for the money
The SpringHill Suites in Morgantown WV did not disappoint. It was located roughly 0.5 miles from I-68 and was conveniently located next to restaurants and stores. My stay took place during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic and the hotel did a fine job of accommodating for the difficult times. The room was nice and clean, and the suite upon which I stayed was fairly spacious and the four of us had plenty of room and did not feel crowded. The only downside was the lack of free breakfast available to us, which consisted of a granola bar, apple, and a bottle of water. Although this wasn’t bad despite the circumstances, it certainly was not comparable to the breakfasts previously eaten at hotels of this caliber. Overall, the SpringHill Suites - Morgantown was a fine hotel and I would stay again!!…
Clean room and comfortable bed. Rooms are a good size. Hot breakfast available which was great. The only place I have stayed during Covid that still served a complimentary hot breakfast and it was totally safe. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
My wife and I stayed here while dropping a kid off at college. Extremely comfortable bed. Very nice breakfast, especially for being provided during Covid restrictions. Conveniently located to WVU campus. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
