Stayed for a long weekend to do some hiking etc. Nice, well maintained camping area. The campsite has a fantastic view. There are large grassy areas for kids/dogs to play in. The tent sites were very flat and nicely sized. We went in April so...More

I've camped at Seneca Shadows several times while climbing and always found it peaceful and well maintained. I'd recommend this campground especially when climbing or just using this as a launching point for other area attractions.

Wonderful experience, clean and tidy... and beautiful views! Lots of things to do and see and experience... will be back again! The camp managers were super friendly and helpful, the restroom and shower house was nice... hot showers are always a plus while camping! :)

We made our second trip to Seneca Shadows in July 2016. This is a fantastic campground with huge sites. There are two electric loops but there are no water hookups on the sites. Two other loops are non-electric and there are walk-in tent sites with...More

Can anyone tell me which walk-in sites are in the open field with views of Seneca Rocks?

The far right walkin sites have the best view. 072, 073 and 078 are the prime sites for the view. 074 and 077 have decent views. 070 and 071 are to close to the tree line.

Me & my fiancé are planning on going here in May, but as I'm reading, Seneca Shadows has tent pads. My tent is a 20x10 (it is huge) & I'm not sure if it will fit on a tent pad. We are really wanting to go there, but we hate sleeping in small tents! Is there bigger tent pads or can I just not use the pad? Thank you!!

how big are the tent pads? we've camped there in the past (and loved it), but have gotten a bigger tent in the meantime. i seem to remember the pads being a bit off the ground, so if one's tent is bigger, it will dangle off the edge weirdly... or don't the walk-in sites even have tent pads? thanks for the help!

Pads are off the ground unless you are in the field. Our 4 person tent fit, but large tents could be a problem.
