The small town of St Vigilio lies in a beautiful, fertile valley. We arrived on a hot, sunny day after a long hike from Fanes. We had great trouble in finding the Villa la Bercia. That is because it lies on the edge of the village, up a gravel path, and more or less in the pine forest. It backs...

We stayed at Villa La Bercia at the conclusion of our High Dolomites walk. Giovanna’s hospitality was second to none. Upon arrival we were delivered freshly made espresso to our room, a very welcomed gesture after a long walk down the mountain. Giovanna’s warm and friendly welcome on arrival, recommendation of a place to eat, (an outstanding restaurant where we...

My fiancee and I stayed in Villa La Bercia during a drive through the Alps. The host and his family were charming - we enjoyed their food and their company as much as their calm and comfortable home. We both felt we would love to stay longer. Recommended to anyone who likes peace, comfort, great books, and interesting conversation.

We were 4 people, 2 rooms. The service we've got was amazing! Giovana the owner was amazing and took care of all our needs including advice and suggest us about places to see and things to do around. The food was great and also the price, very recommended!

We stayed in this bed and breakfast for the last night of our Mac adventure holiday, the rooms are lovely and the breakfast was great. The owners were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The owner helped me check-in for my flight on-line and print the boarding passes. When it was time to go we were going to...

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa La Bercia for the New Year. It felt like home and we were treated like family. They take care of everything and don't miss a detail. The breakfast is delicious and we had the true fortune of having a few incredible dinners. Not a service offered to everyone, but the food was...

My son and I stayed in the wonderful Villa La Bercia on the 15th Sept after a great Trek through part of the Southern Tirol. It was a fitting end to an amazing holiday. St Vigilio is a picture postcard village and La Bercia is an outstanding home not far from the centre. It's a wonderful Tyrolean house, beautiful room...

This is very much like staying in the home of a very friendly family. Giovanna and her family went out of their way to make us feel like honored guests and to make our stay easy. They arranged for our transportation, gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation, and showed us how to download the routes of the hikes we'd just...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Bed and Breakfast Villa La Bercia ¤¤¤¤ is located in a very quiet and green area of the town. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden, it is the ideal place to relax. The property is next to a very nice and wide forest, where you can walk for hours. The Family Management of the house favours a relaxed and happy atmosphere, and grants the maximum quality of the offered service, with care and attention to all those details among which the difference can be done between "a beautiful vacation" and one "unforgettable vacation". The House is a typical South-Tyrolean Chalet, entirely covered with wood both externally and internally. The structure is composed of two floors plus the basement. The Interior Design and furniture is charming and of best quality. The lounge at the ground-floor is very large and comfortable, with a lovely fireplace, two big tables with the typical wooden benches, and sofa. The Garden, ample and pleasant, with the beautiful lawn and the magnificent firs of many different varieties, the pines, the bushes of yellow daisy wheel, offer, especially in summer, pleasant times of relax. The Rooms for the guests are located at the first floor and are all equipped with private bathroom with tab, balcony and or bowindow. Accommodates up to 20 persons in partnership with BB Ciasa dai Mori. ... more   less
