We recently stayed at this wonderful resort and were impressed by its cleanliness, friendly staff, nice amenities, and beautiful surroundings. The walking trails were well-marked. Ample, spacious parking was available. Gramma's Bakery was wonderful. We took advantage of the superb weekend breakfast buffet and loved it. Downtown Sister Bay is close by for our visiting pleasure, but we found the...

Being family run I can let some questionable items go. Don't try to check in before 3pm even with the parking lot empty. Outside entry woodstairs in decay, fire alarms (which didn't sound like an alarm) that go off in the early hours for no apparent reason. The alarm went off for 20-30 minutes, the fire department did not show...

This resort is down the road from our campground (Wagon Trail) where we have a season site, so we often eat here, both dinners and breakfast. When our granddaughters come to visit, we must make a trip to Grandma's Swedish Bakery. The buffet meals are great, and the breakfast Buffett is especially good. The Fish Boil features a "story teller"...

I was there with a Road Scholar group of active seniors getting a broad experience of Door County. What a delightful location away from the crowds that are present in Door County in summer. The staff was excellent and hand picked. Most of those outside our group came to find a place to stay that was quiet but had recreational...

We stayed here with friends because we were going to take the ferry to Washington Island the next morning. It rained the next day so we didn't waste our money. But the rooms were quite spacious but very dated. The pool was nice. Their dinning room serves only buffet breakfasts and dinners. As most buffets go nothing was even close...

We only came here for the fish boil, while staying over in Sister Bay. The fish boil was a quintessential Door County fish boil with storytelling included. Very interesting history! The fish, potatoes, and onions were great. Remainder of the buffet was so-so. A different fish boil we attended de-boned our fish steaks for us, Rowleys Bay did not. But,...

I recently had the pleasure to stay at Rowleys Bay Resort in Ellison Bay,WI. This facility is DOOR COUNTY the way I remember it as a child. The rooms were clean and had the décor that a resort of it's type should have. The grounds were great we hiked and zip lined, also enjoyed a Fish Boil. The buffet that...

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom suite. the rooms were well kept and very clean. The 2 meals we ate at the lodge were wonderful as well. Make sure you try the fish boil. The resort is far enough away from everything that you feel like you are way in the back country. The...

Rented a house for 8 people for a week and 5 days into the stay was told we had too many people in the house that it was only for 4 people and was forced to put some of the family up at the lodge. Devastating! They were so rude and this ruined our vacation. Never stay here again. The...

Your issue with us is described in your first sentence. You booked a house that we clearly state on our website is for a maximum of four people. You brought eight. The owner makes that decision and we follow it to the letter out of respect for our home rental partners.
