Right across the street from the blues festival. Walking distance to restaurants & sports bar. Clean no frills & will definitely use this again. Short drive to the Washington Island ferry. Was a nice surprise to sit out in front of our room & enjoy the music festival in the park actoss the street. Highway was bumper to bumper parkef...

We stayed for two nights to attend a family reunion. The room was big, clean, quiet and nicely equipped. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Parking was no problem with plenty of space. In spite of several negative reviews, we did not encounter a 'musty smell'. WiFi reception must have been bad before, but it was excellent when we...

Wish I had read back further in these TripAdvisor reviews because the current ones seem misleading. Upon entering my room after a long day's drive, I was overwhelmed by an odor of mildew so strong I wondered if something had died in there. This is not a place to stay if you have allergies or breathing difficulties. I had already...

We are sorry to hear of your disappointing stay. We had guests check in the evening you left and they had no complaints of any smell. We are booked all summer long and hear very little on negative feedback. We do encourage any issues that may arise during your stay to let us know so we can make your stay...

The Parkside Inn is about 25 years old, and I don't think any updates had been made to the room we stayed in (1st floor double). Having said that, the room was clean and had everything we needed, including a small refrigerator and microwave. My only real issue was the strong musty smell. Because the hotel is seasonal, I suspect...

My wife and I spent part of our Honeymoon in Door County. We stopped at the Parkside Inn without a reservation. The man in the office was very helpful. He told us that this was the last night of the season(October 25th). The room was very nice. It was $69 for a large room with a fridge and microwave. The...

This was our first time staying at the Parkside Inn. For the cost of $79 per night. It is what I expected. Some previous reviews, have rated it negatively. But come on people. It is $79 per night in door county during high season!! What do you expect!!?? It is a good clean place. I will say it has a...

At 25 years old, this is one of the newer motels in Door County. Located in a very relaxing part of the Door---Ellison Bay, up near the top. Away from all of the hustle and bustle of the lower towns, but close to the popular Charlie's Smokehouse and the Washington Island Ferry. Awesome rates at $46.00 per night, while many...

We recently spent 3 nights there. My wife attended an art workshop across the street at the lakefront park while I explored northern Door County via bicycle. Good location. Clean. Management was very nice and very helpful.

It's a clean 3 star hotel. I wouldn't want to stay here for a week, but it was fine for a night or two. It was quiet and included a small refrigerator and microwave. Our room had fairly new carpeting. The only real negative that I can come up with involves the beds. They weren't what I would call comfortable....

I had read previous reviews and wasn't sure about staying at the Parkside Inn. However I was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. There were three of us, each of us having a room on the second floor. The rooms appear to have been recently updated and were very clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful, making good suggestions...
