Enjoyed staying three nights at this decent Fennimore hotel over a long weekend. The hotel and room were very clean, one of the hotel's assets. We had a quiet stay without any problems or issues. This is a historic hotel and I would stay again. Friendly staff.

Was greeted by the owner as we arrived late. Very kind and hospitable. Room was very nice and relaxing. Very clean with a nice deep tub in the room! Definitely a great place for a quiet getaway. No elevator so just a heads up! Will definitely be back!

Mike and Sue were very great and very helpful they go out of their way to help the guest and make them feel as comfortable as they can. They are very nice and the hotel is very well kept clean and taken care of. This is a place I will always stay at when in the area over any other... More

We arrived early Saturday morning for my wife's 2-day fly fishing course. We stayed only Sat night but it was one of our best hotel experiences. What you don't learn about until you arrive is the hotel has a bar and restaurant, theatrical performances on stage in the theatre. This is an old hotel but the rooms are large, much... More

Happened across this when looking for a getaway from Chicago for our first anniversary weekend and it was the perfect choice! Not only did it get us clear of the hustle and bustle of the big city, but the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a great time. Food at the restaurant... More

We had been on the Road for a week. If you are normally a Hilton/ Radisson person go find something else but if you are looking for a homely place with a personal touch come here. The decor is a retro look of a stage coach inn not expertly done but its cute. Beds were comfortable, great water pressure, room... More

We came from the big city to relax and rejuvenate. Fenway house was perfect and relaxing. The morning coffee blend was so good. Silent woman restaurant had so much to choose from and the food and service was excellent. Thanks for the relaxing stay!

As i write this review we are sitting in our room. It appears as we are the only people in the hotel..no staff, no other guests. CREEPY! Complimentary breakfast is served from "about 6:30-10:30am." It is 10:22am and the lobby is still gated off. Our room is clean, though outdated. Half the outlets don't work. There is 1 working lamp.... More

Do Not Stay Here. Avoid this hotel if you like clean neutral smelling hotels. There was a foul unidentifiable smell throughout the entire building which name is "THE SILENT WOMAN" by the way. The huge signs have a black and white picture of a woman WITH ITS HEAD CUT OFF HOLDING A SERVING TRAY. Any woman with half a brain... More

My boyfriend and I booked a two night stay at The Fenway House; however, by the end of the first day, we loved it so much we booked two more nights. I'm a bath person, and if you are too, you know how hard an IN ROOM jacuzzi is to come by - our two room suite had one (as... More
