I travel nearly every week on business. On this personal trip, we encountered some travel disruptions. Lynn the owner was by far the most accomodating person I've ever encountered. Have already personally recommended this hotel to close aquantances.

Not only was everybody there from all of the front desk people to the housekeepers were very polite and helped you out with everything but the beds were beyond comfortable the pillows were probably the fluffiest I've ever had at a motel. The coffee pot worked well the fridge worked well and my room had a microwave. The jacuzzi was amazing did not use the pool. You had vending machines for food and bathroom essentials. And if you needed anything all you had to do was go up to the front desk and they went above and beyond what you needed. I most definitely would recommend this and I will be back.

We had an amazing time at AppleCreek Resort. The owner is beyond amazing and helpful. The pool and hot tub were recently redone and so nice. Our suite was perfect with the fireplace to get rid of the chill after our walks downtown Fish Creek or the State Park. The trees this time of year were amazingly bright. Being in Fish creek you are close to all the other towns. This was our second time visiting and we will definitely be returning.

Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They had a map printed out that highlights the main sights and best routes to take. Hotel was quiet and clean! Pool is very well maintained.

Pass this hotel up. I was planning a weekday getaway in October. I checked the Apple Creek resort online. I put in the search that I wanted two queen beds for two adults one night on October 3, 2023. The website calendar stated that on October 3 the rate was $99 per night so I called and made the reservation. When I asked if the rate was $99 a woman started screaming at me that no way the room was that amount. I tried to say that is what your website stated. She hung upon me and when I tried calling back-no answer. Very unprofessional. I get that they are sick of tourists. Look elsewhere.

We stayed at the resort one night. Our room was on the first floor in a room with double beds and sliding doors to the deck. The room had a strong smell from a cleaning solution. The room was dated but clean. The hotel toiletries are very basic shampoo, conditioner and small bar of soap (2). There were separate bins for trash and recycling. The pool and hot tub area was large, clean and appealing. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hubby & I were able to get away for an extended weekend. Our stay at AppleCreek Resort was just the R&R we needed! You couldn't have a better location to walk to all and we were so grateful for the "Quiet" we experienced even with the hotel being at full capacity! Lynn & staff were beyond accomodating and made us feel welcome!

We stayed in a queen standard room on the ground level on 7/30/2023 room 115. The room was clean but very musty and damp smelling. Not at all pleasant! The air in the room was very humid and it took a day to get that smell out of our belongings. We won’t be back. We paid over $200 for that room.

1. This is NOT a resort...it is like a Motel 6 with overpriced resort pricing! 2. Standard economy room is extremely small and should not be listed for 2 people...it is a one person room at best and is grossly overpriced, 3. There is NO daily housekeeping service for the overpriced rooms, 4. There is no communal coffee service at front desk, standard room has no coffee maker, and the coffee maker in the larger room did not work, 5. The inside is older and dated, yet the outside looks clean and modern, 6. There is minimal value here...you will be paying a hugely inflated price for an average (at best) room in a great Fish Creek location while staying at a Motel 6 like property.

We stayed in the off-property cottage, this review is not for the resort. We booked a one night stay after issues with our campsite, this cottage was the only vacancy in all of Door County which maybe should have been telling. First impression is that this cottage is remote. It’s very much off the grid with no neighbors in sight which was a bit unsettling for us city folk. The cottage has a potent stench throughout, kinda smelled like cinnamon and chemicals. The interior is extremely dated, straight out of the 1960s. We had trouble turning on some of the lights and fans, they didn’t seem to work. The bed was ok, an improvement from our campsite the night prior at least. They require guests to strip beds and sort sheets and towels into different colored laundry bags, clean floors and vacuum carpets and wash, dry, and return all dishes to the cabinets. The other barns and sheds on this property were roped off with yellow caution tape, looked like a crime scene. Definitely not worth what we paid to stay there. Definitely would not recommend or return.…
