We were married April 18th, 2022. Decided to stay in Door County for our honeymoon, and chose thise sweet place. From getting the room number 18, I knew that this place was the right place. The accommodations are excellent, the bed was super comfy, the whirlpool was great, being the end of April, there was not much traffic or crowds, so we basically had the place to ourselves. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I give this place 10 stars if I could, and we will be coming back every year to stay in room 18. Thanks for a great honeymoon.
Nice, quiet location for our first visit to Door County. Spent 2 nights. Check-in was quick and staff was friendly. Recently updated. We had a whirlpool suite, although it was just one large room, so not actually a suite. Appreciated the new carpeting but the curtains were not blackout, nor even room darkening, so it was way too bright for sleeping. Odd because the drapes in the common area hallways were blackout. Made no sense. The bathroom smelled like urine, even after the cleaning staff did their best to reclean it. Finally realized it was the shower curtain. Yuck! The coffee at breakfast was good, but the food was not appealing. Not a problem for us as we went out to breakfast, but be forewarned. Be sure to visit Lautenbach's Orchard store across the street. Lots of tasty treats and the best cherry pie ever!…
My wife and I researched places to stay for our wedding earlier this year and found the Settlement Inn. What a serendipitous find! We loved the place, staff, and the extremely gracious owners Jodi and Ryan. I could not imagine more accommodating hosts. They made us feel so at home that, after our original outdoor wedding location nearby was nixed, we decided to have our wedding ceremony and reception right there at their inn! They let us decorate their common area and allow our 30 guests to dance and have fun. There were so many little (and big!) things they did for us—- it seems every time we asked something the answer was “yes”. We HIGHLY recommend The Settlement Courtyard Inn and Lavender Spa! We will be returning at least annually. Thank you so very much Jodi and Ryan for your amazing hospitality!! Eric and Lisa Mae Parker…
Very rarely do I write a review for anything (good or bad). But I was massively impressed with what this hotel had to offer. As expected in Door County during Memorial Day weekend, it was pricey, but after my stay I understood why. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding and my girlfriend was even willing to walk around without socks and shoes which never happens at a hotel. The bed was super comfortable which is big for those of us with severe back pain. Both the building and the room both provided an “at home” feel throughout. The room had an electric fireplace, a large fridge/freezer, microwave, and ample space for a couch and a kitchen table. Complimentary breakfast was nicely done for what Covid-19 has done to its availability. Outdoor pool, bag toss, horseshoes were available even though I didn’t have time to make use of them. Overall, this was my first trip to Door County and whenever I am able to get back there I will definitely stay with them again. Thank you.…
We stayed here during a fall weekend getaway. We were happy with their covid safety procedures: front desk staff had masks on and signs were up. We also both had massages, which we were nervous about. Both masseuses (sp?) were wearing masks and allowed us to keep ours on. The room was huge with a fireplace and four person table. We had another couple over and were able to use the kitchen to prepare drinks and store left over food. There was a bike rack for our bikes as well. Great place for couples and families!
