This is NOT a bed and breakfast. No breakfast at all. The room has carpet that is stinky and 20 years past it's life. The bathtub shower is gross. The bath linens are little more than rags. The bed sheets are clean and nice, but that comforter smells. All updates seem to be in the tv. Needs a complete redo...

Me & my wife have stayed there twice, hoping to be able to stop an again sometime soon. First note this is not really a B & B... their breakfast is simply bagels and fruit, and one morning they forgot to give us either. BUT considering the price, that is not even a complaint, just something to be aware of....

The Southport B&B had a great price point and a perfect location. Close to the lake (about 3 blocks) and downtown (about a mile). The room is a bit dated...

We stayed here on a Friday night. The owner was nice and brought in bagels and fruit that we could make for ourselves in the morning. The room was clean and cozy. It had sort of a clean farmhouse feel to it. I would definitely recommend it for a low-key, quiet stay.

“There are two rooms, I liked them both but I believe the "east room" seemed to have slightly thinner walls or something, I could often hear a phone ringing and a few other noises from another part of the building.”

“There are only two rooms. Get the room in the back away from the main street.”
