Do not expect anything fancy at this B&B. It is like going to Grandma's house. It is large.. My in laws rented out the entire house. My husband and I were on the lower floor, with no a/c or fans. The temp was ok.. a fan would have been better. It is clean-ish. The bedding is old and well worn....

What an escape from reality! The house is huge, impeccably clean, and very comfortable, as are the rooms. The bucolic property is nestled in the driftless region. Veterans Equine Trail Service, a nonprofit that provides outreach for veterans, rents property, so over 50 gorgeous Morgan horses live there as well. Porch and barn cats and a very friendly dog named...

I arrived with no reservation on a Sunday afternoon after a very busy weekend checkout. The owner was accommodating but, no rooms were ready. NO PROBLEM, as I was hungry and wanted to go eat. An hour and a half later, I settled into what seemed like my own room at grandma's house. Not super fancy, but very comfortable, as...

We had 20 of us in the house and we're very comfortable. Lynn was very friendly and very hospitable. We really enjoyed the peaceful small farm life. If you need a place to visit to really enjoy Wisconsin farm life this is a great place

We were looking for a place so we and our children and their families could stay together without having to drive away from the area. Who knew that a place this spacious, charming and inexpensive would be just outside LaValle Wisconsin? The open main floor Great Room invited conversation at any hour. Lynne was very accommodating to our requests. It...

I wish I could buy this place and call it home! Just driving in the driveway starts to relax every tight shoulder and neck muscle I have. The scenery of the hills, the river, the barns, the big house is so relaxing, quiet, beautiful, especially with all the beautiful horses in the pasture, the cats, the dog, the rabbits and...

We had a wonderful time, very peaceful, breakfast was great. After putting the kids to sleep we were able to enjoy the great room and sit and relax. Kids loved it. The wrap around porch was great during a storm and rain as we could still sit outside and enjoy the countryside and watch the horses

Not only does this place have massive amounts of bugs flying in your face but this innkeeper is cruel and neglects her animals. Her dog and cat were left out in the poring rain and are completely malnurished. We had reservations for three nights and the day before she called and cancelled the reservation saying the air conditioning was out....

My sister, my sons and I recently stayed at September Farms for 3 nights. We had 3 rooms and shared one bathroom. We chose it for its proximity to some sights we wanted to see (especially the Baraboo Circus museum). Lynn was a great hostess and the accommodations were comfortable. After sightseeing we looked forward to sitting on the wraparound...
